Awaken your senses, Lanzarote is a magical and wonderful island. The island is full of crater and old volcanoes. That is why, the inhabitants of Lanzarote are aware and take care of the environment. With this excursion, we will see the north of the island and we will enjoy the sculptures and works of the brilliant artist César Manrique.

We begin the northerly route by following the sea of lava which comes from the National Park of Timanfaya. We will arrive to the capital of the island: Arrecife. Once there, we will visit the old capital of the island: la Villa de Teguise. We stroll its alleys and get to know its history.

We will continue to explore and discover small towns of the island, such as Teseguite, Mala and Guatiza. These towns were dedicated for a long time to the farming of prickly ;After passing the plantations of prickly pears, you choose either Jameos del Agua or the Cave of the Greens - Cueva de los Verdes, the former being one of the best known works of César Manrique.

In the Cueva de los Verdes we will go through inside of a volcanic tube, which was created by large volcanic eruptions. It became in a refuge for people in Lanzarote to avoid attacks of pirates. On the other hand, Jameos del Agua you can contemplate one of the most wonderful works of the genius César Manrique, who converted an underground lake into an artwork.

We continue the excursion along the coast of the island, where we can enjoy the sight of the incredible and beauty beaches of white sand.

We continue with a visit to an Aloe Vera plantation; this plant is known worldwide for its medicinal and cosmetic properties.

Next we skirt Crown Volcano to enjoy the stunning panorama from the viewpoint of Guinate. At our feet, the Chinijo archipelago which consists of the islands of La Graciosa, Montaña Clara, Alegranza and Los Roques. Near the Valley of the Thousand Palms, we'll stop for lunch and enjoy the views over the valley and the village of Haría. Our route takes us via los Valles and its crops with an optional stop at the César Manrique Foundation, the former residence of this wonderful artist.
