I saw a couple of the gyroplanes in Cotillo and Corralejo and as I’ve always wanted in all my 28 years coming to Fuerteventura to fly around the north with my camera I just had to look how to do it. I researched under Gyroexperiece, saw I could book so I did. I was a bit disappointed I could only go the following Friday only as they only run Friday, Saturday and Sunday but I booked anyway for Friday, paid deposit. A hour later I got a call from them asking if I could go that day, Monday. I said I could so we drove down to the aerodrome near Antigua, following the sat nav instruction I was sent. I had the best time. The pilot, Daniel I think, talked me through everything and kept me informed as to where we were and I got some fabulous photos. One if the best experiences and would highly recommend this as a bucket list to do item. I was never scared and was surprised how smooth the flight was. The only thing I was disappointed in was the cloud came down which spoilt the colours of the sea and views but still brilliant. We always hire a car here so it wasn’t a problem for us to go but those staying in resorts might be put off by cost to get to aerodrome but that’s maybe something to think about picking people up would expand your customer base. Fantastic day out and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much.

We arrived at the aerodrome for 10:00 am as booked online through the Canary Experience platform but no one was there. After three attempts of phoning the number in the e-ticket i got through to someone who had not recieved the confirmation e-mail. He did however point out that i was supposed to phone this number as soon as i recieved the e-ticket, i had not read the e-ticket, i knew what i had booked and where i was going and was very busy enjoying my holiday. So my fault and maybe a lack of clarity upon the initial booking ie; PLEASE PHONE THE NUMBER PROVIDED ON THE E-TICKET WHEN YOU RECIEVE IT and bad comunication between the operator and agent. The problem was quickly resolved by the pleasant operator who rescheduled for 4:00 pm later that day and an unforgetable experience was had by all. I very much recomend this experience, you can see a different side to the island from above and i am sure like us you will find it quite thrilling. No one felt scared at all and the pilot was very friendly and thorough, you knew you were in safe hands. In a nutshell, fantastic!! we would do it again.

I'm an experienced angler so when I went on the MIZU for the first time I knew these guys ( Tino skipper, and Roberto deckhand) were the best guys in town. Their unparallelled Experience was obvious, they know the waters very well, they know the likely target species at any season, they look after your safety which in choppy waters like we had was imperative. We got a seasonal bonito about 5lb and a 50" baracuda which made my day after a poor week's weather and rounded off my Lazorote break! My mates back at home are v. jealous.............brilliant day (20-01-2022)

Went out for bottom fishing and we had very great day. Transfer was perfect both way. On the boat we started with cafe, safety and fishing information.The icebox was full with soft drinks,water,and beer. Till we arrived to "bottom fishing" locality we did trolling fishing. After started the mean thing. Many small fish was hooked and after one guy caught one nice Angel shark. While everyone made pictures i heard my line going from the reel very fast. So finally i caught a Zitrone amberjack.Was a nice feeling. P.S. The captain and London Louis, they are incredible sociable and helpful. Thanks guys for a nice day. I hope CU shortly

I took this trip this week with my Son, brother in law and Dad. For 60 euro for fishermen and 20 euro for spectators it is great value as includes pick up and return to your resort (we were in Playa Blanca which is around half an hour away). Once we arrived at the harbour we boarded the Katfish and went out to sea. Before stopping to fish we spotted dolphins and several sightings of whales. The 2 guides on board were fantastic in helping out, giving information about the different fish and aiding those without experience. We caught puffer fish, mullet, pandora, snapper and a huge lemon fish. How can people complain about their catch and return on 60 euro!? Our team caught some great fish but this can't be controlled by the trip! We got a sandwich for lunch and unlimited beer and soft drinks. Tackle and bait is all included and we were out at sea for around 6 hours. Fantastic trip and would return

We booked a day out on the 27/01/18 for my birthday ( I am keen fisherman), unfortunately the wind was on the increase and when I looked out of room in morning I knew no one wud be out fishing. Feeling a little deflated we cancelled our submarine trip for the Tuesday and rebooked the fishing. Picked up in morning and taken to marina, the crew quiet to begin with but warmed to us and became very friendly. Boat is well equipped and spacious. The trolling was uneventful (but fishing can be that way). The bottom fishing started with my partner getting first fish, followed by 3 for me (first one had to poisonous lol). Plenty of bites, and Steve behind me hit into a couple of larger fish but only landing one. Highlight was when the live bait Bream was taken by something LARGE and ratchet had quick melt down, no fish on but the bream was bitten surgically in half!! Trolled back to marina but again no luck. Cold beers and lunch all provided. I have fished a few places worldwide and still not had my Tuna but it will happen. Well recommended and I WILL return !

This was my second Big Game Fishing trip with Sport Fishing Lanzarote and yet again a great day out. We were unfortunate that we did not catch any "Blue Fin Tuna" but we did see lots of them and according to the captain they were all between 200 and 300 kilos. Louis could not have worked any harder, and the Captain got so engrossed in following the tuna that we were half an hour late in getting back. Thanks. The day was not all doom and gloom as we did see a school of dolphins that were having fun very close to the boat and shortly after that we saw a large turtle leisurely swimming by. Will I go for a third Big Game Fishing Trip ? You bet. I just know there is a big fish out there with my name on it. I met up with a guy called Ron on our trip who had booked to go out again next Tuesday - so good luck to you all. Just book it, you will not be disappointed and yes of course, catching a fish would be a bonus but that is what big game fishing is all about. Even Robson Green has blank days.

Me my brother in law and son went fishing with Sport fishing Lanzarote back in November and it was a fantastic experience . Louis is a great deckhand , top man and really knowledgeable and helpfull. We trolled on the way out ( weather was 30 degrees :) ) but didnt get any bites so we had a good 3 hours drifting and bottom fishing where i think everyone on the boat caught fish.....and wildly enough someone caught a turtle :P ( iv'e posted pics ) I'm not talking a small turtle either ..think finding Nemo size .. All in all a great experience ..great weather..free beer ( for adults ) soft drinks and food ..if i make it to Lanzarote again i'll be definately going out another trip... Cheers Gavin

We were looking forward to this experience and waited at our designated pick up point for over half an hour. I then phoned the number on the Mizu leaflet and spoke to 2 people, who denied all knowledge of our booking but asked us to get a taxi and they would pay for it or book for another day. We did not feel confident doing this, so rejected their offer. I then called the office where we had booked this trip and they asked us to call in to sort it out. They spoke to the fishing organisers, who said they had called me to say there was a problem with their transport (NOT TRUE) We were refunded our deposit, but felt they did not believe us. Anybody going on this trip would be wise to double check their booking to avoid disappointment.

Great 6 hour fishing trip, the crew where excellent, The London boy was very helpful i think his name is Loui or Leo and had some great videos on his phone from his trips. fed us and had a fridge full of beer. unfortunately we didn't catch anything big but lots of Snappers and Pandora's, all in all it was well worth 60 Euro.

Had a great day aboard the fishing boat Mizu, friendly skipper and mate, they tried everything they could so we came back with some fish. Even though I never caught a tuna my friend caught an Albacor which we got to take back to our villa, was good on the barbeque.I would recommend this boat for a great experience in the deep blue sea, thanks for the lovely pasta too !

went fishing did trolling and bottom fishing. we caught lots of rays, yellow stingray and a 160lb butterfly ray was landed. lots of other assorted fish caught as well. The staff on the boat were great, helpful and polite. the best 60 euros i have ever spent.

This is my first ever fishing and I had a great day. The trip started off with coffee and an unplanned dolphin watch! Within a few mins after departure, the captain noticed a large group of dolphins/birds, so we circled around them and saw several cute dolphins jumping around us and swimming along the boat, literally a foot away. Then the staff set up the trolling fishing. Once reaching the spot, following a quick induction, we started the bottom fishing. I got one hooked almost immediately, a nice size bream. Many small fishes were caught. Then it went quiet, the captain moved us to another spot where we caught more fishes. One guy got a big lemon fish, took good 15 min to get it on boat. As mentioned by others, the staffs are really helpful and nice. There are lunch and unlimited soft drinks/beer on board. 6 hours went really fast, I had a great day. Will come back.

3 years in a row we've been to Puerto Del Carmen and it wouldn't be a real holiday for us without fishing on the Katfish. The crew is very nice and more than helpful!! Included in the price is lunch (with fruit all you can eat and a huge bread roll) all drinks are free too. Always excited to see all the variety of fish caught. Highly recommendable to do and there is no age limit. We go again next year because we love it so much :)

My wife and I went on the trolling/bottom fishing trip a couple of weeks ago, had such a good day that we went out on the big game trip a few days later. The first trip was more eventful: dolphins surrounding the boat, a couple of whales surfacing and quite a few fish (bonito, yellow & black stingrays etc). The big game trip was less eventful (but no less pleasant) although a white marlin hit one of the lures with explosive force in the last hour of the session. Great crew, hefty sandwich, lovely boat. Highly recommended.

Good setup and friendly crew. Caught a fair few fish. Unfortunately only small but that's fishing. (Better than blanking) The only grumble I have is when we were trawling. Nobody was allocated a rod they were just set out and people stood around awaiting a bite. No bites came but if one had it mite of got a bit ruff scrapping over who got to the rod first. As there was a lot of people fishing. I'd of preferred to have been allocated our own rod so if my line went it would of been my fish. Without wrestling anyone haha. Would recommend but think I'll try a smaller capacity boat when I return.

Overall lovely day out great company on boat and speedy get out of harbour. Just wish when book was told we weren't going to be catching large fish as sold to me. Sent emails before trip to Lanzarote to sporting fishing stating that's what me and my wife was after. Great tourist fishing but not if your an experienced fisherman/woman. I was disappointed with the trip myself but the kids from other people seemed to enjoy trip. Very friendly staff on boat. A lot of money to catch stickle back sized fish when advertised to catch large fish like barracuda/tuna etc. If your looking to do good fishing and want large fishing experience go to harbour and scout skippers face to face you'll find them and at good prices for trips out. Wish I'd done this instead of jumping the gun.

my husband and I have been on this trip twice now and each time the crew have been very helpful and friendly even for a novice to fishing they were very helpful and patient. they supply cold drinks and a snack consisting of a ham and cheese baguette which was very tasty. well worth the money

Went out for a day bottom fishing and had a great time. Got picked up no problem at our hotel dropped off at the dock and got on the boat (katfish). The captain and crewman Louis got all the trolling rods sorted offered everyone a coffee then we set off. As we trolled out to the fishing ground Louie who is from London gave everyone a safety and how the fishing works talk, it was then around an hour of trolling till we arrived at the fishing ground. Everyone then got a rod and there was loads of squid for bait and it was fishing time, everyone was all most right in to small fish, bream, boga, wrasse, damsel fish, one guy got a small stingray, that was the script till lunch time and while we all got lunch a cheese and ham crusty roll, the captain moved to a new spot, and the fishing started again with more of the same sort of fish nothing big but plenty coming aboard, then one guy hooked something huge that dragged him up and down the boat as this was happening one of the float bait rods went and a lemon fish/jack crevalle was landed then a bonetio tuna, unfortunately the guy at the other end of the the boat lost the huge fish which the captain thought was a big stingray. All in all a good day with unlimited beer and soft drinks, nice crew and some fish.

The crew are a professional set up. Plenty of rods set up and prepared for a variety of fishing styles. They couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. They demonstrated patience when lines got tangled and made sure that the trip was as hassle free for us as possible. They clearly enjoyed what they did, and showed a sense of humour along the way. Food consisted of quality crusty rolls and an apple. During the whole trip there was as much canned soft drinks, bottled water and beers as you wanted. Trolling on the way out followed by bottom fishing, and then trolling on the way back to the harbour. Watching the two Sharks being landed was the highlight of the trip. Just awesome. I did some research before going on this fishing trip and considered going to Mizu, but after reading terrible reviews about Mizu and reading the excellent reviews about 'Sports Fishing Lanzarote' I am very glad I went with 'Sports Fishing Lanzarote'. Well done guys, and thanks for an excellent day out!

Went on the trolling and bottom fishing trip, last for about 6 hours cost 65euro, includes all equipment, bait, travel to and from your resort, much and drinks. Crew very knowledgeable and helpful, all in all a good day out

Excellent way to spend 6 hours of a holiday. As with all fishing trips you cannot guarantee what you will catch, but never the less whether you have an action packed day reeling in fish all the time or you just get a couple of small ones it is a great way of spending time on holiday. The Katfish is a nice size boat with all the amenities required for a 6 hour fishing trip. The crew are good and are there to instruct and help if required. Would definitely recommend a trip out with these guys to anyone.

Over all when I booked this trip it was for 8 people not 26 it was suitable for disabled people this is not so how are they supposed to get on and off the boat even though we asked before we were asured that it would be fine also we only spent 1hour 30 mins bottom fishing because the boat was late leaving no explanation given even when email sent and asked then very few fish were caught be anyone but as long as they made their money their ok with that not worth u20ac60 caught more fish off the jetty

I decide to go fishing on 8th May! I choose Sport Fishing Lanzarote based on the reviews! First the boat was good, plenty of space and rods, the crew were excellent an both spoke English! The deck hand who was English made time for everyone and made sure all were kept busy. As much beer and pop as you could drink! As for the fishing plenty of fish caught bottom fishing from red snapper, bream, pandora, puffer fish(quite funny when the deck hand blows them up) and loads of weaver fish(beware). Unfortunately no fish caught trawling! Light lunch included baguette and apple! Would go again but only bottom fishing! But I'm not too interested in catching the big ones!

Great day on the sea in the sun. Went on both Bottom Fishing and Big Game trips. Bottom fishing was great, with the boat managing to pull on board and fantastic Black Stingray weighing in at ~200Kg. The care and attention to us and the fish was excellent. The stingray was rested and placed back into the sea, in line with the general catch and release policy for certain fish. I will be back again and go out again...hopefully catching something on the big game trip. Thanks Louis and co!.

First of all this was not the trip i had been lead to believe i booked, having read the reviews i would have thought twice about booking this fishing trip. I used the website excursionslanzarote.com to book the fishing trip with Tortuga fishing because after reading the reviews with this company it sounded perfect for what i was after. I got to the meeting point this morning and was approached by a very rude man asking if i was on his fishing trip, i told him i'm part of the tortuga fishing trip which he replied that fishing boat is no longer in use and my ticket was now for his boat (might i add a very poorly maintained boat in comparison to the tortuga boat we were expecting with no safety equipement life jackets etc..) After getting on to the boat the skipper was all to quick to grab my money without even a hello or good morning, i found his overall attitude and people skills absolutely disgraceful, we questioned him about the tortuga boat which seemed to have got his defences up which came woth a reply of "if you want to cancel i dont care i dont need your money". That had finalized it for me, i was gone. We did some extensive research and found that the website/company excursionslanzarote.com i had initially booked with had been acting on behalf of "Low Cost Tours Europe" who we found to be the actual service provider and overall a completely different company/excursion/fishing boat by the name "Mizu Direct". We were not informed of this. I asked for my money back which was u20ac118, he had the cheek to try and give me only u20ac100 back, i did manage to get the rest back but lost out on the u20ac30 deposit to excursionslanzarote.com. Having found out where they are based i will be heading there today.... i recommend you do not use mizu fishing.Show

Picked up and dropped off from hotel, polite skipper, supplied refreshments and light lunch but the heavy smoking that took place spoiled it for my partner and I and the other non smokers on board. Trawling then bottom fishing and trawled on way back. Saw quite a few flying fish too.

Had a fantastic day just try and have an early one the night before as there was nearly ground bait going down of the missis AGAIN!!. A group of 4 of us joined another 5 people and 2 crew onboard the boat. Although we had a good day, and one of we 9 caught a 5 kilo tuna, we felt it was a lot of money for what it was. The crew were very nice and cooked us some bolognese pasta served with a couple of beers for lunch. This was unexpected as we hadn't been told we'd receive lunch. Thank you

I had not fished before and my partner has fished, and we both enjoyed this equally. We participated in big game fishing and in bottom fishing. Unfortunately we only caught one fish between the boat in the big game fishing but this just seemed to be bad luck, though the crew member turned it into sushi for us infront of us and we also saw dolphins, which saved alot of money on a dolphin spotting trip! On the bottom fishing trip, everybody caught fish, within 30 seconds of putting your line in the water, you have a fish!. Lunch and unlimited drink was supplied on both of the trips. And on the bottom fishing, we did trolling on the way out there and the way back, so we did two types of fishing which seemed a good idea to get our moneys worth! Sushi was made also on the bottom fishing trip. The crew speaks really good english and are really friendly and helpful. Although i have not fished before, i really enjoyed myself and would definitely do it again. The big game fishing was 85 euros and the bottom fishing was 60 euros.

I book our sea fishing trip for my mates birthday on the 24th October 2015 for a days sea fishing for the 3rd Febuary 2016, on the 31/01/16 I got an email asking us to change the date to the 2/01/16 no problem other that it was my mates wife's birthday but she said ok.. We arrived at PDC harbour got on the Katfish(the boat) and set sail the crew were very good, Then after about an hour one of the engines started to play up the skipper spent about 60 minuites trying to sort the problem with out to much success We then had a 3 hour journey back to harbour with some help from some other boats closer to the port. When we eventually docked an English speaking girl was on hand to answer an question that were asked and there were many and she did very well. Alternative fishing trips were offered some free and refunds should be sorted in the next few days. All in all the day was a total disaster as far as the fishing was concerned but the staff were very good.

If you are an experienced angler then this is a good introduction to fishing in Lanzarote. If you are a beginner then there's no better way to get started then taking a trip out on this boat. The skipper & crew know the local fishing grounds like the back of their hand. They all are 'hands on' people and will help and advise you throughout the trip. I got the feeling that they really want you to get into the fish, have a good time and go home happy. I thought i'd try them out & see if it was any good, I ended going out twice and would've done more if I had the time. The days we went out we set the game lures whilst steaming to the area where we'd do some ground fishing. When we set off the deckhand Louis gives you a thorough briefing, what fish to expect to catch, what to do in the event of a strike, how to handle the rod & reels etc (common sense if you already know but v. useful for a beginner). Pay attention to his advice as you are likely to get some action from trolling. Tuna (various species) Dorado, Marlin (both Blue & white) are just a few types of game fish you can expect to hit the lures anytime whilst you are on the move. I was pleased to land both tuna & dorado and we had a white marlin hit one one the lures just out from the marina so (hint) it's worth staying by the rods in case one goes off, it's 1st come 1st served so be ready! Whilst on the move to the fishing grounds we had company of dolphins playing around the bow of the boat, a great sight to see. I'm told they also have Whales around sometimes so that's another bonus if you spot one blowing. The bottom fishing is good fun, lots of 'pan sized' fish to be had but also the real chance of landing some decent sized stuff. Snapper, Bream, Trevally, Rays, Shark + many others. They do have poisonous fish such as the weaver but you are well looked after and it'll be unlikely there's any problems but do heed the deckhand's advice. It can get v. hot in Lanzarote in the summer months, do take sun cream, glasses & a hat, all basic sense really. Tea, coffee & lunch is proved on the boat (usually a roll & fruit). There's an endless supply of chilled soft drinks, water and beer so you are unlikely to go thirsty. If you need to pee then there's an onboard loo. Is this trip value for money? in my book it's a yes. You leave at 9am and return 3:30ish so a good many hours out on the water. Other charters in the area are more expensive and spend less time out, I've not tried them so can't comment on how good they are. I do know that you'll be well looked after on the Katfish it's a solid boat with a great crew. One thing to note that the boat can be busy as it can accommodate 15+ people fishing, not an issue for me but if you want solitude then charter a boat all to yourself!

Ive fished all over the world and Ive got to say that Tino the skipper knows his stuff, the water temp was below 17 deg C but he still found my son a tuna/spanish machrel. We booked a 5 hour trip but he told me we would'nt dock till my son had his fish! or in his words "my grandfarther told me never bring the boat home till there's blood on the deck!" So refreshing in a world of "pull some rubber and take the cash!". Over all the trip was worth great, Tino is a realist,a fisherman and enjoys catching you fish, what more can you ask for. I recommend this man and his boat.

My partner and I went out yesterday in the Katfish, and we will be back. Probably with more friends! The day started out trolling out to the spot were we would be fishing, wee bit chilly on the way out so take a jumper/jacket. The deckhand Loui explained what the day would involve then once we landed we fished away. Everyone grabbed a rod on which ever side they wanted to fish and that was it! Got bites as soon as the rod landed in the water, and hooked 2 fish the first cast. There were about 6 bigger tackled rods hanging out as well which if any of them went off someone would get a shot of landing whatever was on; while being told what to do and how to reel, the boys stayed with us the whole time of fighting the fish. We had a good mix of fish landed and whichever ones we never used as bait, got released - while onboard all the fish were kept in fresh seawater, well kept. Like I said I will be back, even just coming over for a fishing trip. My girlfriends first time fishing and she loved it, even tho only spectating. A roll and plenty of drinks were provided for lunch, some fruit too. Ps. If the boys ever need any help you know where I am! Thanks again

This was my 3rd Big Game Fishing Trip with Sport Fishing Lanzarote and although we didn't catch any fish we did see some dolphins that followed the boat for a while. Louie and the Captain did there best but I guess that I will have to wait till next year for that elusive tuna. 4th time lucky. This is great a day out and catching a big game fish is secondary. The cheese and ham baguette is great washed down with a few beers. See you next year.

Friendly staff but they allow smoking on board and 95 percent if all ppl on the boat were constantly pretty much chain smoking which as a non smoker I found pretty much ruined our experience as the stench if the cigarettes and constant smoke being blown at us was horrible

25/09/15 - Went out for a days trolling and bottom fishing. Everything from start to finish was well organised and great fun. Transport, food, drinks all provided. The crew were so very helpful and made the day what it was. Good advice and general fishining educaton as me and my girlfriend had never done it before. So glad we did and would definitely do it again! ps - If you could please post the photo of the stingray I pulled in I would be very grateful as no one believes me :)

I arranged a days bottom fishing for 4 family members at the cost of 60euros each & was advertised as a boat for 8 pepole. There was in fact at least 26 ppl on board fishing, including ppl who had only paid to spectate who were actually fishing!!! They expected to fish for majority of the day but only fished for approx. 1&half hours. It was also a case of whoever got to a line first & shouted "fish on" that managed to get the fish. There was also a disabled fisherman in our group, who we were told in advance would be fine & helped on & off the boat, but in fact struggled both ways due to the drop on & off the boat. There was also a major delay in leaving & didn't set out until 10am when advertised as 8.30am. Have since emailed them & been told that the start time had been changed on the website since I booked & also that it has been changed to bottom fishing & trolling.Why were we not informed of the changes??? Am not happy about the trip, or the responses I have had to our complaints.

I went fishing on this boat in Dec 2015, what a joke. It was supposed to be a 6 hour trip for bottom fishing only as the season for trolling for big game finished months ago. We trolled for an hour to a fishing spot, put the anchor down missed the spot they wanted. Then after 10 minutes up anchor and trolled to another spot saying the wind was against the tide so it blew us of the mark. We arrived at the second spot an hour later, set the anchor dropped down our fishing gear to be told we wasn't in the correct spot again. We moved to the next spot 500 yards north of where we was, dropped anchor then after ten minutes decided to move again as the water was not deep enough. The anchor got stuck in the bottom they tried to release it for an hour but could not, snapped the anchor rope. They tied a new anchor on and buy the time they had done this were about 1000 yards south of were we anchored the second time, we tried fishing for 45 minutes but nothing. We upped anchor and trolled all the way back to port, we only had 55 minutes bottom fishing time out of a 6 hour trip ? I asked the crew if they did any serious fishing and they said this was all they did and the only boat that did any was on holiday at this time, i think it was called Escualo. I asked them why they trolled and they said that most people don't know anything about fishing so they get away with it picking the odd skipjack tuna or barracuda up. I quizzed them on there own fishing experience and they did not have much to offer all in all they were a poor, inexperienced crew. I asked for my money back to no avail. These people are just ripping tourist of at 65 euros each because the general tourist are non the wiser. This also give fishing and the sport a bad name and a bad experience for everybody. Do not waist your money unless you just want a boat ride for 6 hour.

Fantastic day. 22 July 2019 Found the boat and read the reviews here on trip adviser, I emailed the company asking for this date 3 people pickup in teguise at Hotel and possible drop off later and Price. About one hour later I received an email saying yes I can fit you in will pick you up 7.30 am 6 hours fishing free drinks on board water coke beer etc... and a sandwich and drop you back at your hotel u20ac75 each to be paid on the day . I Said yes please and that was it, Pepe the skipper picked us up as agreed and we had a great days fishing nothing very big but a few Tuna worth eating. Pepe asked who wanted to take fish then gutted and cleaned all the fish bagged them up with equal amounts and gave them to the ones who wanted them. I had asked the restaurant next to my hotel if I caught something nice would they cook it for me and they said yes so I dropped my bag off and arranged a time for dinner the next day 2pm we sat down to a banquet for 5 people with huge tuna stakes cooked to perfection and they only wanted u20ac80 which would barely cover the bar bill. I rang Pepe and booked the night fishing for the 3 of us on 24th he said it would cost u20ac100 pp as there would only be five fishing but we would definitely get some big rays or sharks wich we did all five of us. Big big thanks to Pepe and his helper who new his job very well. Photos to follow

I went as a spectator and my son and partner did the fishing. I think this is a trip for all ages as there were 7 year olds to 50 year olds on the trip and every one enjoyed themselves. Everyone who wanted to caught a fish and even those who weren't fishing got caught up in the excitement. I wasn't looking forward to it and took a book to read but didn't read a page.

The big game fishing trip was efficiently organised. Louie from the crew looked after us well, and we were provided with a decent lunch (ham roll and apple) and unlimited cold drinks. We saw a whale at close quarters and dolphins following the boat were an impressive sight. Unfortunately, though, the boat caught no fish, but then again, big game fish are difficult to come by. I think next time I'm in Lanzarote, I'll book up for the bottom fishing trip which is both cheaper and with a greater chance of catching fish.

I decided to take a trip out fishing with these guys and the young lad ( soon to be captain) is a star! only 14 but can work his way around the boat. We caught a couple of small fish but nothing to brag about, they also served beers and pasta a sauce which i did'nt personally eat but the others said it was ok.- the thing that lets it down is when 5 of the 8 on deck get sea sick and are hanging over the sides, i know it happens but it really does have an effect on the teams because we know they are ready to go back. we paid 75 Euros for 4.5 hours - i didnt really feel it was value for money but next time i will do a little more research!

We went out bottom fishing on the Katfish. The crew were very personable and informative. They seemed to really care about the environment as well as their commercial interests Not only did we fish but we also got to see whales, dolphins and even a loggerhead turtle. A lunch of a ham and cheese roll and an apple was provided along with as much soft drinks or lager that you could drink. I thoroughly recommend a day out with them.

We went out with Mizu on Friday 20th September. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped back and the service was great. There was around 11 of us on the boat. We trawled for big fish for 90 minutes but we were aware that nothing is guaranteed. We then all fished lines for an hour or so. Some good fish were caught but itu2019s hard work in the sun. Oh, try and get a spot on the back of the boat. Itu2019s really hard work on the bow as the boat does rock in the waves. Lunch was good and 2 beers provided. The deckhand is great - he works really hard. Itu2019s a really exciting experience but do take a hat / sun cream / water. It gets hot.

many thanks to the crew . my son and i spent a wonderfull 3 days out fishing and for a 11 yo to catch an 40 pound plus angel shark wasa great highlight, mnyself a sting ray ! loads of snapper and bream and my son beating over the 3 days by a puffer fish !! can only give the trips 100% marks .. Recommend this to all you budding and expirenced fishers. Waiting for a call from the boys to let me know when the big ones are biteing and im away back across. This was my second trip out with Sport Fishing Lanzarote. Last time I chose the Big Game Trip and really enjoyed that so this time I decided to have a change. We trolled for an hour until we arrived at the wreck. On the way we had a hit from a Marlin that didn't hook up and also saw a big pod of dolphins. Plenty of fish caught whilst drifting and at anchor. Big fish rods were set up and we had a take from a shark but that bit through the hook trace and I was lucky enough to play what was purported to be a big Stingray. (Louis said it coud be anything uo to 100kg due to the way it ran...Smaller ones tend to come up a bit easier. It ran some 300 metres along the bottom and eventually escaped when the hook length scraped across the rocky bottom and got away (I know it sounds like a fisherman's tale). Trolling on our way back to port we hit two fish and landed one (a skipjack tuna). Cap'n Jack Sparrow, Louis and Matt are great hosts and I can't wait to go out again with Katfish. Whilst on the trip you have unlimited cold drinks and a nice ham and cheese roll and an apple.

I had wanted to try sea fishing for years. We found Sport-Fishing Lanzarote on Trip Advisor and went on reputation rather than the hard sell of local trip organisers. We were picked up at 8:15 from round the corner from our hotel, after picking up and few other people we arrived just after 8:30 at the harbour and found our way to the boat. We were greeted by the captain (who's name escapes me, sorry) and Louis the English deck hand. Everything sorted we got underway just after 9am On the way out, Louis gathered everyone around and explained how the day would work and showed us all what we'd be doing and what we could expect to catch. He threw out about 10 trolling rigs from the boat as we made the hour or so journey to the fishing ground. We were treated to loads of Flying Fish skipping around as we made our way. When we got there we all started fishing, and catching... But strong currents were causing peoples lines to repeatedly getting taffled so the skipper made the decision to change location. The fishing wasn't as good but hey ho. The fish were there according to the fish finder, they just weren't hungry for squid strips that day. My partner came with me, but she's never fished before. Louis made sure she knew what she was doing and we finished up with two Snappers a piece (We'd bet a beer a fish so the livers were the real winner here) We were provided with a Cheese and Ham roll and an apple, as well as as much Beer, Water and soft drinks as we wanted. About 2pm we set off for the harbour, again trolling all the way home. Was a great day, even if the fishing wasn't amazing. On another day we could have bagged up and that's why it's called FISHING and not CATCHING! I'd recommend this company and the crew to anyone, Well organised, knowledgeable and friendly

Just got back from a great day out with sport fishing lanzarote, I'd looked at a few online and in the harbour in puerto Calero where we are staying but when I checked on here the others had bad reviews so went with them. The weather hasn't been great for a few days now, really windy and rough seas so I wasn't sure we'd be going, turned out, just 4 of us had booked but they still took the boat out even though it could easily take 20+ people fishing. The skipper was local but very friendly, the deckhand Louie was a character, obviously been doing it a long time but he still put all the effort you would expect in and was very helpful. The fishing wasn't great but I didn't expect it to be, it's been rough seas, but the beer was free and lunch was provided. No complaints from me and I'd definitely go again.

I guess a fishing trip is judged by the catch! We caught fish as did others but nothing above 12 inches. Well organised, clean and good H&S but very little return for 60 Euros per person Maybe we were unlucky!

Just off the Katfish, had an enjoyable day. The crew were very assured, boat very clean. The trip out to the bottom fishing is pleasing to the eye, Dolfins swimming by the side if the boat, the odd flying fish to be seen, no big fish caught. Sometimes you do and sometimes you don't that's fishing for you. Give it a go it's well worth it.

After fishing in Tenerife 2 years back, catching nothing and then throwing up over board, I was reluctant to go fishing again. But im so thankful I did. My boyfriend and I had a competition to see who could catch the most fish - mostly red snappers and other small fish, but we lost count after 10 each. Keeping the fish and using them as bate we later caught a 6ft SHARK which really got my adrenaline buzzing and the brought the thrashing beast on board for a photo before letting it go again. If that wasn't enough we then landed a HUGE sting ray, which took 4 strong men over 45minutes to bring on board. Again photo opportunities took place before it wriggled off the back of the boat. With pick up, lunch included and all you can drink (water, fizz or beer) this was an amazing trip, with an amazing staff and well worth the money. yeah we may have been lucky, but other people in the diary had seen dolphins and wales, and caught huge hammer heads or tuna fish. Its all in the luck of the day I suppose but give it a go! You'll not be disappointed.

Having never fished before, I was a tad nervous about actually doing this. Those nerves soon subsided after one of the lads gave us all a quick lesson. I managed to catch four fish and one was rather impressive by my standards. The crew were very friendly and I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thanks a lot guys. If ever I am back in Lanzarote I will definitely be doing this again. I might even try the big game next time.

Tolle Tour mit einer coolen Crew ! Das Essen und die Stimmung / Musik waren super ! Wir haben sogar ein ganzes Rudel Delfine gesehen, die dann kru00e4ftig mit uns mit geschwommen sind - einfach nur WOW. Die Badebucht war auch ganz schu00f6n, da hu00e4tten wir meiner Meinung nach noch einen lu00e4ngeren Stop machen ku00f6nnen. Leider hat das mit dem Transfer nicht ganz so geklappt , wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten. Gebucht war urspru00fcnglich mit Transfer. Es wurde uns eine Abholzeit von 8:30 bis 10 Uhr genannt. Pu00fcnktlich um 08:30 haben wir dann u00fcber eine Stunde gewartet - aber es kam kein Bus. Wir haben uns dann mit dem spanischen Anbieter direkt in Verbindung gesetzt und haben erfahren , dass wir nicht auf der Transferliste stehen und der Bus schon lu00e4ngst weg ist. Wir ku00f6nnten ein Taxi nehmen - was wir aber selbst hu00e4tten zahlen mu00fcssen - oder die Tour umbuchen, was wir dann auch gemacht haben. Wir wu00fcrden jederzeit diese Tour nochmal buchen und ku00f6nnen diese daher nur empfehlen!

Wir haben die Tour sehr genossen. Es war fu00fcr alles gesorgt. Die Crew war sehr freundlich und hat mit toller Musik gute Stimmung verbreitet. Kleine Babys/Kinder waren ebenso an Bord wie u00e4ltere Menschen. Fu00fcr jedermann zu empfehlen. Toiletten gibt es ebenfalls an Bord die aber u00fcber eine steile Treppe nach unten erklommen werden mu00fcssen. Das Menu00fc bestand aus Weiu00dfwein, Rosu00e9wein, Bier, Softdrinks und Wasser sowie einer Stu00e4rkung durch Hu00e4hnchen Paella. Die Katamarantour hat uns super gefallen. Wir wurden am Hotel abgeholt und auch zu00fcgig zuru00fcckgebracht. Alles im Preis miteinbegriffen.

An und fu00fcr sich eine tolle Tour, fu00fcr sagen wir mal, aufgeweckte Leute. Wer die magic select wu00e4hlt, ist mit ca 50 Leuten auf einem grou00dfem Segelboot/Partyboot. Es gibt Bier, Wein, Sekt und Alkoholfreie Getru00e4nke inklusive. Es wir nach Delfinen Ausschau gehalten und nebenbei wird wortwu00f6rtlich Party gemacht. Falls Delfine gefunden werden, werden diese kurz (15-20min) begutachtet und dann gehtu2019s weiter zur Bucht(auf den Weg dahin wird ebenfalls Party gemacht). Angekommen wird gebadet und direkt gegessen. Das Essen ist nicht, dass beschriebene u201e5 Gu00e4nge Menu00fcu201c, sonder eher ein aufgewu00e4rmtes Mikrowellen Gericht, welches man nach 2 1/2 aber auch recht gut vertragen kann. Nach gut 30 min rast gehtu2019s wieder rauf aufs Meer, wo es fu00fcr die restliche Zeit nochmal ordentlich zur Sache geht und party motivierte Gu00e4ste das letzte mal voll auf ihre Kosten kommen.

Four if us joined the trip last Wednesday on the bottom fishing & coastal trawling package. We didn't catch too many fish but that was the boats quietest days fishing for a few weeks but that's fishing for you. That said one person pulled in an 80lb stingray which was great entertainment. This crew and company really care about the fish and make sure that they are looked after before being released back in to the sea live and well. All in all this was a great day out and it doesn't matter if you are an experienced fisherman or this is first time for you (like my wife). The crew look after you and explain everything. They provide lunch and there are drinks available all through the trip. Just make sure you take a warm top for the trawling element of the trip.

Overall lovely day out great company on boat and speedy get out of harbour. Just wish when book was told we weren't going to be catching large fish as sold to me. Sent emails before trip to Lanzarote to sporting fishing stating that's what me and my wife was after. Great tourist fishing but not if your an experienced fisherman/woman. I was disappointed with the trip myself but the kids from other people seemed to enjoy trip. Very friendly staff on boat. A lot of money to catch stickle back sized fish when advertised to catch large fish like barracuda/tuna etc. If your looking to do good fishing and want large fishing experience go to harbour and scout skippers face to face you'll find them and at good prices for trips out. Wish I'd done this instead of jumping the gun.

We went out bottom fishing on the Katfish. The crew were very personable and informative. They seemed to really care about the environment as well as their commercial interests Not only did we fish but we also got to see whales, dolphins and even a loggerhead turtle. A lunch of a ham and cheese roll and an apple was provided along with as much soft drinks or lager that you could drink. I thoroughly recommend a day out with them.

Fantastic day. 22 July 2019 Found the boat and read the reviews here on trip adviser, I emailed the company asking for this date 3 people pickup in teguise at Hotel and possible drop off later and Price. About one hour later I received an email saying yes I can fit you in will pick you up 7.30 am 6 hours fishing free drinks on board water coke beer etc... and a sandwich and drop you back at your hotel u20ac75 each to be paid on the day . I Said yes please and that was it, Pepe the skipper picked us up as agreed and we had a great days fishing nothing very big but a few Tuna worth eating. Pepe asked who wanted to take fish then gutted and cleaned all the fish bagged them up with equal amounts and gave them to the ones who wanted them. I had asked the restaurant next to my hotel if I caught something nice would they cook it for me and they said yes so I dropped my bag off and arranged a time for dinner the next day 2pm we sat down to a banquet for 5 people with huge tuna stakes cooked to perfection and they only wanted u20ac80 which would barely cover the bar bill. I rang Pepe and booked the night fishing for the 3 of us on 24th he said it would cost u20ac100 pp as there would only be five fishing but we would definitely get some big rays or sharks wich we did all five of us. Big big thanks to Pepe and his helper who new his job very well. Photos to follow

Me my brother in law and son went fishing with Sport fishing Lanzarote back in November and it was a fantastic experience . Louis is a great deckhand , top man and really knowledgeable and helpfull. We trolled on the way out ( weather was 30 degrees :) ) but didnt get any bites so we had a good 3 hours drifting and bottom fishing where i think everyone on the boat caught fish.....and wildly enough someone caught a turtle :P ( iv'e posted pics ) I'm not talking a small turtle either ..think finding Nemo size .. All in all a great experience ..great weather..free beer ( for adults ) soft drinks and food ..if i make it to Lanzarote again i'll be definately going out another trip... Cheers Gavin

I decided to take a trip out fishing with these guys and the young lad ( soon to be captain) is a star! only 14 but can work his way around the boat. We caught a couple of small fish but nothing to brag about, they also served beers and pasta a sauce which i did'nt personally eat but the others said it was ok.- the thing that lets it down is when 5 of the 8 on deck get sea sick and are hanging over the sides, i know it happens but it really does have an effect on the teams because we know they are ready to go back. we paid 75 Euros for 4.5 hours - i didnt really feel it was value for money but next time i will do a little more research!

We booked a day out on the 27/01/18 for my birthday ( I am keen fisherman), unfortunately the wind was on the increase and when I looked out of room in morning I knew no one wud be out fishing. Feeling a little deflated we cancelled our submarine trip for the Tuesday and rebooked the fishing. Picked up in morning and taken to marina, the crew quiet to begin with but warmed to us and became very friendly. Boat is well equipped and spacious. The trolling was uneventful (but fishing can be that way). The bottom fishing started with my partner getting first fish, followed by 3 for me (first one had to poisonous lol). Plenty of bites, and Steve behind me hit into a couple of larger fish but only landing one. Highlight was when the live bait Bream was taken by something LARGE and ratchet had quick melt down, no fish on but the bream was bitten surgically in half!! Trolled back to marina but again no luck. Cold beers and lunch all provided. I have fished a few places worldwide and still not had my Tuna but it will happen. Well recommended and I WILL return !

I took this trip this week with my Son, brother in law and Dad. For 60 euro for fishermen and 20 euro for spectators it is great value as includes pick up and return to your resort (we were in Playa Blanca which is around half an hour away). Once we arrived at the harbour we boarded the Katfish and went out to sea. Before stopping to fish we spotted dolphins and several sightings of whales. The 2 guides on board were fantastic in helping out, giving information about the different fish and aiding those without experience. We caught puffer fish, mullet, pandora, snapper and a huge lemon fish. How can people complain about their catch and return on 60 euro!? Our team caught some great fish but this can't be controlled by the trip! We got a sandwich for lunch and unlimited beer and soft drinks. Tackle and bait is all included and we were out at sea for around 6 hours. Fantastic trip and would return

Friendly staff but they allow smoking on board and 95 percent if all ppl on the boat were constantly pretty much chain smoking which as a non smoker I found pretty much ruined our experience as the stench if the cigarettes and constant smoke being blown at us was horrible

My partner and I went out yesterday in the Katfish, and we will be back. Probably with more friends! The day started out trolling out to the spot were we would be fishing, wee bit chilly on the way out so take a jumper/jacket. The deckhand Loui explained what the day would involve then once we landed we fished away. Everyone grabbed a rod on which ever side they wanted to fish and that was it! Got bites as soon as the rod landed in the water, and hooked 2 fish the first cast. There were about 6 bigger tackled rods hanging out as well which if any of them went off someone would get a shot of landing whatever was on; while being told what to do and how to reel, the boys stayed with us the whole time of fighting the fish. We had a good mix of fish landed and whichever ones we never used as bait, got released - while onboard all the fish were kept in fresh seawater, well kept. Like I said I will be back, even just coming over for a fishing trip. My girlfriends first time fishing and she loved it, even tho only spectating. A roll and plenty of drinks were provided for lunch, some fruit too. Ps. If the boys ever need any help you know where I am! Thanks again

many thanks to the crew . my son and i spent a wonderfull 3 days out fishing and for a 11 yo to catch an 40 pound plus angel shark wasa great highlight, mnyself a sting ray ! loads of snapper and bream and my son beating over the 3 days by a puffer fish !! can only give the trips 100% marks .. Recommend this to all you budding and expirenced fishers. Waiting for a call from the boys to let me know when the big ones are biteing and im away back across. The crew are a professional set up. Plenty of rods set up and prepared for a variety of fishing styles. They couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. They demonstrated patience when lines got tangled and made sure that the trip was as hassle free for us as possible. They clearly enjoyed what they did, and showed a sense of humour along the way. Food consisted of quality crusty rolls and an apple. During the whole trip there was as much canned soft drinks, bottled water and beers as you wanted. Trolling on the way out followed by bottom fishing, and then trolling on the way back to the harbour. Watching the two Sharks being landed was the highlight of the trip. Just awesome. I did some research before going on this fishing trip and considered going to Mizu, but after reading terrible reviews about Mizu and reading the excellent reviews about 'Sports Fishing Lanzarote' I am very glad I went with 'Sports Fishing Lanzarote'. Well done guys, and thanks for an excellent day out!

This is my first ever fishing and I had a great day. The trip started off with coffee and an unplanned dolphin watch! Within a few mins after departure, the captain noticed a large group of dolphins/birds, so we circled around them and saw several cute dolphins jumping around us and swimming along the boat, literally a foot away. Then the staff set up the trolling fishing. Once reaching the spot, following a quick induction, we started the bottom fishing. I got one hooked almost immediately, a nice size bream. Many small fishes were caught. Then it went quiet, the captain moved us to another spot where we caught more fishes. One guy got a big lemon fish, took good 15 min to get it on boat. As mentioned by others, the staffs are really helpful and nice. There are lunch and unlimited soft drinks/beer on board. 6 hours went really fast, I had a great day. Will come back.

This was my second Big Game Fishing trip with Sport Fishing Lanzarote and yet again a great day out. We were unfortunate that we did not catch any "Blue Fin Tuna" but we did see lots of them and according to the captain they were all between 200 and 300 kilos. Louis could not have worked any harder, and the Captain got so engrossed in following the tuna that we were half an hour late in getting back. Thanks. The day was not all doom and gloom as we did see a school of dolphins that were having fun very close to the boat and shortly after that we saw a large turtle leisurely swimming by. Will I go for a third Big Game Fishing Trip ? You bet. I just know there is a big fish out there with my name on it. I met up with a guy called Ron on our trip who had booked to go out again next Tuesday - so good luck to you all. Just book it, you will not be disappointed and yes of course, catching a fish would be a bonus but that is what big game fishing is all about. Even Robson Green has blank days.

25/09/15 - Went out for a days trolling and bottom fishing. Everything from start to finish was well organised and great fun. Transport, food, drinks all provided. The crew were so very helpful and made the day what it was. Good advice and general fishining educaton as me and my girlfriend had never done it before. So glad we did and would definitely do it again! ps - If you could please post the photo of the stingray I pulled in I would be very grateful as no one believes me :)

Had a great day aboard the fishing boat Mizu, friendly skipper and mate, they tried everything they could so we came back with some fish. Even though I never caught a tuna my friend caught an Albacor which we got to take back to our villa, was good on the barbeque.I would recommend this boat for a great experience in the deep blue sea, thanks for the lovely pasta too !

I arranged a days bottom fishing for 4 family members at the cost of 60euros each & was advertised as a boat for 8 pepole. There was in fact at least 26 ppl on board fishing, including ppl who had only paid to spectate who were actually fishing!!! They expected to fish for majority of the day but only fished for approx. 1&half hours. It was also a case of whoever got to a line first & shouted "fish on" that managed to get the fish. There was also a disabled fisherman in our group, who we were told in advance would be fine & helped on & off the boat, but in fact struggled both ways due to the drop on & off the boat. There was also a major delay in leaving & didn't set out until 10am when advertised as 8.30am. Have since emailed them & been told that the start time had been changed on the website since I booked & also that it has been changed to bottom fishing & trolling.Why were we not informed of the changes??? Am not happy about the trip, or the responses I have had to our complaints.

We were looking forward to this experience and waited at our designated pick up point for over half an hour. I then phoned the number on the Mizu leaflet and spoke to 2 people, who denied all knowledge of our booking but asked us to get a taxi and they would pay for it or book for another day. We did not feel confident doing this, so rejected their offer. I then called the office where we had booked this trip and they asked us to call in to sort it out. They spoke to the fishing organisers, who said they had called me to say there was a problem with their transport (NOT TRUE) We were refunded our deposit, but felt they did not believe us. Anybody going on this trip would be wise to double check their booking to avoid disappointment.

Just got back from a great day out with sport fishing lanzarote, I'd looked at a few online and in the harbour in puerto Calero where we are staying but when I checked on here the others had bad reviews so went with them. The weather hasn't been great for a few days now, really windy and rough seas so I wasn't sure we'd be going, turned out, just 4 of us had booked but they still took the boat out even though it could easily take 20+ people fishing. The skipper was local but very friendly, the deckhand Louie was a character, obviously been doing it a long time but he still put all the effort you would expect in and was very helpful. The fishing wasn't great but I didn't expect it to be, it's been rough seas, but the beer was free and lunch was provided. No complaints from me and I'd definitely go again.

My wife and I went on the trolling/bottom fishing trip a couple of weeks ago, had such a good day that we went out on the big game trip a few days later. The first trip was more eventful: dolphins surrounding the boat, a couple of whales surfacing and quite a few fish (bonito, yellow & black stingrays etc). The big game trip was less eventful (but no less pleasant) although a white marlin hit one of the lures with explosive force in the last hour of the session. Great crew, hefty sandwich, lovely boat. Highly recommended.

A group of 4 of us joined another 5 people and 2 crew onboard the boat. Although we had a good day, and one of we 9 caught a 5 kilo tuna, we felt it was a lot of money for what it was. The crew were very nice and cooked us some bolognese pasta served with a couple of beers for lunch. This was unexpected as we hadn't been told we'd receive lunch. Thank you

After fishing in Tenerife 2 years back, catching nothing and then throwing up over board, I was reluctant to go fishing again. But im so thankful I did. My boyfriend and I had a competition to see who could catch the most fish - mostly red snappers and other small fish, but we lost count after 10 each. Keeping the fish and using them as bate we later caught a 6ft SHARK which really got my adrenaline buzzing and the brought the thrashing beast on board for a photo before letting it go again. If that wasn't enough we then landed a HUGE sting ray, which took 4 strong men over 45minutes to bring on board. Again photo opportunities took place before it wriggled off the back of the boat. With pick up, lunch included and all you can drink (water, fizz or beer) this was an amazing trip, with an amazing staff and well worth the money. yeah we may have been lucky, but other people in the diary had seen dolphins and wales, and caught huge hammer heads or tuna fish. Its all in the luck of the day I suppose but give it a go! You'll not be disappointed.

Great 6 hour fishing trip, the crew where excellent, The London boy was very helpful i think his name is Loui or Leo and had some great videos on his phone from his trips. fed us and had a fridge full of beer. unfortunately we didn't catch anything big but lots of Snappers and Pandora's, all in all it was well worth 60 Euro.

3 years in a row we've been to Puerto Del Carmen and it wouldn't be a real holiday for us without fishing on the Katfish. The crew is very nice and more than helpful!! Included in the price is lunch (with fruit all you can eat and a huge bread roll) all drinks are free too. Always excited to see all the variety of fish caught. Highly recommendable to do and there is no age limit. We go again next year because we love it so much :)

I decide to go fishing on 8th May! I choose Sport Fishing Lanzarote based on the reviews! First the boat was good, plenty of space and rods, the crew were excellent an both spoke English! The deck hand who was English made time for everyone and made sure all were kept busy. As much beer and pop as you could drink! As for the fishing plenty of fish caught bottom fishing from red snapper, bream, pandora, puffer fish(quite funny when the deck hand blows them up) and loads of weaver fish(beware). Unfortunately no fish caught trawling! Light lunch included baguette and apple! Would go again but only bottom fishing! But I'm not too interested in catching the big ones!

We went out with Mizu on Friday 20th September. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped back and the service was great. There was around 11 of us on the boat. We trawled for big fish for 90 minutes but we were aware that nothing is guaranteed. We then all fished lines for an hour or so. Some good fish were caught but itu2019s hard work in the sun. Oh, try and get a spot on the back of the boat. Itu2019s really hard work on the bow as the boat does rock in the waves. Lunch was good and 2 beers provided. The deckhand is great - he works really hard. Itu2019s a really exciting experience but do take a hat / sun cream / water. It gets hot.

I book our sea fishing trip for my mates birthday on the 24th October 2015 for a days sea fishing for the 3rd Febuary 2016, on the 31/01/16 I got an email asking us to change the date to the 2/01/16 no problem other that it was my mates wife's birthday but she said ok.. We arrived at PDC harbour got on the Katfish(the boat) and set sail the crew were very good, Then after about an hour one of the engines started to play up the skipper spent about 60 minuites trying to sort the problem with out to much success We then had a 3 hour journey back to harbour with some help from some other boats closer to the port. When we eventually docked an English speaking girl was on hand to answer an question that were asked and there were many and she did very well. Alternative fishing trips were offered some free and refunds should be sorted in the next few days. All in all the day was a total disaster as far as the fishing was concerned but the staff were very good.

I'm an experienced angler so when I went on the MIZU for the first time I knew these guys ( Tino skipper, and Roberto deckhand) were the best guys in town. Their unparallelled Experience was obvious, they know the waters very well, they know the likely target species at any season, they look after your safety which in choppy waters like we had was imperative. We got a seasonal bonito about 5lb and a 50" baracuda which made my day after a poor week's weather and rounded off my Lazorote break! My mates back at home are v. jealous.............brilliant day (20-01-2022)

First of all this was not the trip i had been lead to believe i booked, having read the reviews i would have thought twice about booking this fishing trip. I used the website excursionslanzarote.com to book the fishing trip with Tortuga fishing because after reading the reviews with this company it sounded perfect for what i was after. I got to the meeting point this morning and was approached by a very rude man asking if i was on his fishing trip, i told him i'm part of the tortuga fishing trip which he replied that fishing boat is no longer in use and my ticket was now for his boat (might i add a very poorly maintained boat in comparison to the tortuga boat we were expecting with no safety equipement life jackets etc..) After getting on to the boat the skipper was all to quick to grab my money without even a hello or good morning, i found his overall attitude and people skills absolutely disgraceful, we questioned him about the tortuga boat which seemed to have got his defences up which came woth a reply of "if you want to cancel i dont care i dont need your money". That had finalized it for me, i was gone. We did some extensive research and found that the website/company excursionslanzarote.com i had initially booked with had been acting on behalf of "Low Cost Tours Europe" who we found to be the actual service provider and overall a completely different company/excursion/fishing boat by the name "Mizu Direct". We were not informed of this. I asked for my money back which was u20ac118, he had the cheek to try and give me only u20ac100 back, i did manage to get the rest back but lost out on the u20ac30 deposit to excursionslanzarote.com. Having found out where they are based i will be heading there today.... i recommend you do not use mizu fishing.Show

Four if us joined the trip last Wednesday on the bottom fishing & coastal trawling package. We didn't catch too many fish but that was the boats quietest days fishing for a few weeks but that's fishing for you. That said one person pulled in an 80lb stingray which was great entertainment. This crew and company really care about the fish and make sure that they are looked after before being released back in to the sea live and well. All in all this was a great day out and it doesn't matter if you are an experienced fisherman or this is first time for you (like my wife). The crew look after you and explain everything. They provide lunch and there are drinks available all through the trip. Just make sure you take a warm top for the trawling element of the trip.

Great day on the sea in the sun. Went on both Bottom Fishing and Big Game trips. Bottom fishing was great, with the boat managing to pull on board and fantastic Black Stingray weighing in at ~200Kg. The care and attention to us and the fish was excellent. The stingray was rested and placed back into the sea, in line with the general catch and release policy for certain fish. I will be back again and go out again...hopefully catching something on the big game trip. Thanks Louis and co!.

This was my second trip out with Sport Fishing Lanzarote. Last time I chose the Big Game Trip and really enjoyed that so this time I decided to have a change. We trolled for an hour until we arrived at the wreck. On the way we had a hit from a Marlin that didn't hook up and also saw a big pod of dolphins. Plenty of fish caught whilst drifting and at anchor. Big fish rods were set up and we had a take from a shark but that bit through the hook trace and I was lucky enough to play what was purported to be a big Stingray. (Louis said it coud be anything uo to 100kg due to the way it ran...Smaller ones tend to come up a bit easier. It ran some 300 metres along the bottom and eventually escaped when the hook length scraped across the rocky bottom and got away (I know it sounds like a fisherman's tale). Trolling on our way back to port we hit two fish and landed one (a skipjack tuna). Cap'n Jack Sparrow, Louis and Matt are great hosts and I can't wait to go out again with Katfish. Whilst on the trip you have unlimited cold drinks and a nice ham and cheese roll and an apple.

I guess a fishing trip is judged by the catch! We caught fish as did others but nothing above 12 inches. Well organised, clean and good H&S but very little return for 60 Euros per person Maybe we were unlucky!

Over all when I booked this trip it was for 8 people not 26 it was suitable for disabled people this is not so how are they supposed to get on and off the boat even though we asked before we were asured that it would be fine also we only spent 1hour 30 mins bottom fishing because the boat was late leaving no explanation given even when email sent and asked then very few fish were caught be anyone but as long as they made their money their ok with that not worth u20ac60 caught more fish off the jetty

Just off the Katfish, had an enjoyable day. The crew were very assured, boat very clean. The trip out to the bottom fishing is pleasing to the eye, Dolfins swimming by the side if the boat, the odd flying fish to be seen, no big fish caught. Sometimes you do and sometimes you don't that's fishing for you. Give it a go it's well worth it.

I had not fished before and my partner has fished, and we both enjoyed this equally. We participated in big game fishing and in bottom fishing. Unfortunately we only caught one fish between the boat in the big game fishing but this just seemed to be bad luck, though the crew member turned it into sushi for us infront of us and we also saw dolphins, which saved alot of money on a dolphin spotting trip! On the bottom fishing trip, everybody caught fish, within 30 seconds of putting your line in the water, you have a fish!. Lunch and unlimited drink was supplied on both of the trips. And on the bottom fishing, we did trolling on the way out there and the way back, so we did two types of fishing which seemed a good idea to get our moneys worth! Sushi was made also on the bottom fishing trip. The crew speaks really good english and are really friendly and helpful. Although i have not fished before, i really enjoyed myself and would definitely do it again. The big game fishing was 85 euros and the bottom fishing was 60 euros.

Went out for bottom fishing and we had very great day. Transfer was perfect both way. On the boat we started with cafe, safety and fishing information.The icebox was full with soft drinks,water,and beer. Till we arrived to "bottom fishing" locality we did trolling fishing. After started the mean thing. Many small fish was hooked and after one guy caught one nice Angel shark. While everyone made pictures i heard my line going from the reel very fast. So finally i caught a Zitrone amberjack.Was a nice feeling. P.S. The captain and London Louis, they are incredible sociable and helpful. Thanks guys for a nice day. I hope CU shortly

Best days sea fishing. caught a great variety of foreign fishies thanks to really helpful staff that wanted to catch fish. The boat was the most stable I've been on. And to top the day the previously moaning Michelle caught a SHARK! Brilliant:)

I went fishing on this boat in Dec 2015, what a joke. It was supposed to be a 6 hour trip for bottom fishing only as the season for trolling for big game finished months ago. We trolled for an hour to a fishing spot, put the anchor down missed the spot they wanted. Then after 10 minutes up anchor and trolled to another spot saying the wind was against the tide so it blew us of the mark. We arrived at the second spot an hour later, set the anchor dropped down our fishing gear to be told we wasn't in the correct spot again. We moved to the next spot 500 yards north of where we was, dropped anchor then after ten minutes decided to move again as the water was not deep enough. The anchor got stuck in the bottom they tried to release it for an hour but could not, snapped the anchor rope. They tied a new anchor on and buy the time they had done this were about 1000 yards south of were we anchored the second time, we tried fishing for 45 minutes but nothing. We upped anchor and trolled all the way back to port, we only had 55 minutes bottom fishing time out of a 6 hour trip ? I asked the crew if they did any serious fishing and they said this was all they did and the only boat that did any was on holiday at this time, i think it was called Escualo. I asked them why they trolled and they said that most people don't know anything about fishing so they get away with it picking the odd skipjack tuna or barracuda up. I quizzed them on there own fishing experience and they did not have much to offer all in all they were a poor, inexperienced crew. I asked for my money back to no avail. These people are just ripping tourist of at 65 euros each because the general tourist are non the wiser. This also give fishing and the sport a bad name and a bad experience for everybody. Do not waist your money unless you just want a boat ride for 6 hour.

Excellent way to spend 6 hours of a holiday. As with all fishing trips you cannot guarantee what you will catch, but never the less whether you have an action packed day reeling in fish all the time or you just get a couple of small ones it is a great way of spending time on holiday. The Katfish is a nice size boat with all the amenities required for a 6 hour fishing trip. The crew are good and are there to instruct and help if required. Would definitely recommend a trip out with these guys to anyone.

Went out for a day bottom fishing and had a great time. Got picked up no problem at our hotel dropped off at the dock and got on the boat (katfish). The captain and crewman Louis got all the trolling rods sorted offered everyone a coffee then we set off. As we trolled out to the fishing ground Louie who is from London gave everyone a safety and how the fishing works talk, it was then around an hour of trolling till we arrived at the fishing ground. Everyone then got a rod and there was loads of squid for bait and it was fishing time, everyone was all most right in to small fish, bream, boga, wrasse, damsel fish, one guy got a small stingray, that was the script till lunch time and while we all got lunch a cheese and ham crusty roll, the captain moved to a new spot, and the fishing started again with more of the same sort of fish nothing big but plenty coming aboard, then one guy hooked something huge that dragged him up and down the boat as this was happening one of the float bait rods went and a lemon fish/jack crevalle was landed then a bonetio tuna, unfortunately the guy at the other end of the the boat lost the huge fish which the captain thought was a big stingray. All in all a good day with unlimited beer and soft drinks, nice crew and some fish.

Picked up and dropped off from hotel, polite skipper, supplied refreshments and light lunch but the heavy smoking that took place spoiled it for my partner and I and the other non smokers on board. Trawling then bottom fishing and trawled on way back. Saw quite a few flying fish too.

If you are an experienced angler then this is a good introduction to fishing in Lanzarote. If you are a beginner then there's no better way to get started then taking a trip out on this boat. The skipper & crew know the local fishing grounds like the back of their hand. They all are 'hands on' people and will help and advise you throughout the trip. I got the feeling that they really want you to get into the fish, have a good time and go home happy. I thought i'd try them out & see if it was any good, I ended going out twice and would've done more if I had the time. The days we went out we set the game lures whilst steaming to the area where we'd do some ground fishing. When we set off the deckhand Louis gives you a thorough briefing, what fish to expect to catch, what to do in the event of a strike, how to handle the rod & reels etc (common sense if you already know but v. useful for a beginner). Pay attention to his advice as you are likely to get some action from trolling. Tuna (various species) Dorado, Marlin (both Blue & white) are just a few types of game fish you can expect to hit the lures anytime whilst you are on the move. I was pleased to land both tuna & dorado and we had a white marlin hit one one the lures just out from the marina so (hint) it's worth staying by the rods in case one goes off, it's 1st come 1st served so be ready! Whilst on the move to the fishing grounds we had company of dolphins playing around the bow of the boat, a great sight to see. I'm told they also have Whales around sometimes so that's another bonus if you spot one blowing. The bottom fishing is good fun, lots of 'pan sized' fish to be had but also the real chance of landing some decent sized stuff. Snapper, Bream, Trevally, Rays, Shark + many others. They do have poisonous fish such as the weaver but you are well looked after and it'll be unlikely there's any problems but do heed the deckhand's advice. It can get v. hot in Lanzarote in the summer months, do take sun cream, glasses & a hat, all basic sense really. Tea, coffee & lunch is proved on the boat (usually a roll & fruit). There's an endless supply of chilled soft drinks, water and beer so you are unlikely to go thirsty. If you need to pee then there's an onboard loo. Is this trip value for money? in my book it's a yes. You leave at 9am and return 3:30ish so a good many hours out on the water. Other charters in the area are more expensive and spend less time out, I've not tried them so can't comment on how good they are. I do know that you'll be well looked after on the Katfish it's a solid boat with a great crew. One thing to note that the boat can be busy as it can accommodate 15+ people fishing, not an issue for me but if you want solitude then charter a boat all to yourself!

Good setup and friendly crew. Caught a fair few fish. Unfortunately only small but that's fishing. (Better than blanking) The only grumble I have is when we were trawling. Nobody was allocated a rod they were just set out and people stood around awaiting a bite. No bites came but if one had it mite of got a bit ruff scrapping over who got to the rod first. As there was a lot of people fishing. I'd of preferred to have been allocated our own rod so if my line went it would of been my fish. Without wrestling anyone haha. Would recommend but think I'll try a smaller capacity boat when I return.

The big game fishing trip was efficiently organised. Louie from the crew looked after us well, and we were provided with a decent lunch (ham roll and apple) and unlimited cold drinks. We saw a whale at close quarters and dolphins following the boat were an impressive sight. Unfortunately, though, the boat caught no fish, but then again, big game fish are difficult to come by. I think next time I'm in Lanzarote, I'll book up for the bottom fishing trip which is both cheaper and with a greater chance of catching fish.

Ive fished all over the world and Ive got to say that Tino the skipper knows his stuff, the water temp was below 17 deg C but he still found my son a tuna/spanish machrel. We booked a 5 hour trip but he told me we would'nt dock till my son had his fish! or in his words "my grandfarther told me never bring the boat home till there's blood on the deck!" So refreshing in a world of "pull some rubber and take the cash!". Over all the trip was worth great, Tino is a realist,a fisherman and enjoys catching you fish, what more can you ask for. I recommend this man and his boat.

I went as a spectator and my son and partner did the fishing. I think this is a trip for all ages as there were 7 year olds to 50 year olds on the trip and every one enjoyed themselves. Everyone who wanted to caught a fish and even those who weren't fishing got caught up in the excitement. I wasn't looking forward to it and took a book to read but didn't read a page.

I had wanted to try sea fishing for years. We found Sport-Fishing Lanzarote on Trip Advisor and went on reputation rather than the hard sell of local trip organisers. We were picked up at 8:15 from round the corner from our hotel, after picking up and few other people we arrived just after 8:30 at the harbour and found our way to the boat. We were greeted by the captain (who's name escapes me, sorry) and Louis the English deck hand. Everything sorted we got underway just after 9am On the way out, Louis gathered everyone around and explained how the day would work and showed us all what we'd be doing and what we could expect to catch. He threw out about 10 trolling rigs from the boat as we made the hour or so journey to the fishing ground. We were treated to loads of Flying Fish skipping around as we made our way. When we got there we all started fishing, and catching... But strong currents were causing peoples lines to repeatedly getting taffled so the skipper made the decision to change location. The fishing wasn't as good but hey ho. The fish were there according to the fish finder, they just weren't hungry for squid strips that day. My partner came with me, but she's never fished before. Louis made sure she knew what she was doing and we finished up with two Snappers a piece (We'd bet a beer a fish so the livers were the real winner here) We were provided with a Cheese and Ham roll and an apple, as well as as much Beer, Water and soft drinks as we wanted. About 2pm we set off for the harbour, again trolling all the way home. Was a great day, even if the fishing wasn't amazing. On another day we could have bagged up and that's why it's called FISHING and not CATCHING! I'd recommend this company and the crew to anyone, Well organised, knowledgeable and friendly

This was my 3rd Big Game Fishing Trip with Sport Fishing Lanzarote and although we didn't catch any fish we did see some dolphins that followed the boat for a while. Louie and the Captain did there best but I guess that I will have to wait till next year for that elusive tuna. 4th time lucky. This is great a day out and catching a big game fish is secondary. The cheese and ham baguette is great washed down with a few beers. See you next year.

Gebuchte Tour wurde auf einen Alternativtermin umgebucht. Unkompliziert wurde ich daru00fcber benachrichtigt. Abholung klappte super. An Board super tolles Personal, spricht spanisch, englisch, deutsch und Italienisch. Es konnte auch gut Abstand eingehalten werden. Leider gab es, meines Erachtens nach, keinen Versuch weiter raus zu fahren, um Delfine/Wale zu sehen. Wir waren die ganze Zeit vor der Ku00fcste. Das Schwimmen in der Bucht was super,Getru00e4nke und ein Reisgericht inkl. Bitte nehmt doch wiederverwendbare Becher-so viel Mu00fcll. Teller und Besteck war wiederverwendbar. Insgesamt wu00fcrde ich es aber definitiv weiter empfehlen. So war es eine kurze Auszeit, mit guter Musik, netten Guides und viel Sonne.

Am sich ein wunderschu00f6ner Trip mit einer super netten Crew. Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es da es in der Beschreibung kanarische Kartoffeln geben sollte aber es tatu00e4tsu00e4chlich eine Reis-/Fleischpfanne gab. Als Vegetarier blu00f6d. Die Bucht in der gehalten wird um zu schnorcheln hat nicht wirklich etwas sehenswertes. Das Meer war zu unruhig dass Kinder ins Wasser konnten und ein Riff zum schnorcheln oder u00e4hnliches gab es auch nicht. Aber wer Katamaran fahren gut findet und Delphine in der Wildbahn sehen mu00f6chte, ist bei der Tour richtig:)

An und fu00fcr sich eine tolle Tour, fu00fcr sagen wir mal, aufgeweckte Leute. Wer die magic select wu00e4hlt, ist mit ca 50 Leuten auf einem grou00dfem Segelboot/Partyboot. Es gibt Bier, Wein, Sekt und Alkoholfreie Getru00e4nke inklusive. Es wir nach Delfinen Ausschau gehalten und nebenbei wird wortwu00f6rtlich Party gemacht. Falls Delfine gefunden werden, werden diese kurz (15-20min) begutachtet und dann gehtu2019s weiter zur Bucht(auf den Weg dahin wird ebenfalls Party gemacht). Angekommen wird gebadet und direkt gegessen. Das Essen ist nicht, dass beschriebene u201e5 Gu00e4nge Menu00fcu201c, sonder eher ein aufgewu00e4rmtes Mikrowellen Gericht, welches man nach 2 1/2 aber auch recht gut vertragen kann. Nach gut 30 min rast gehtu2019s wieder rauf aufs Meer, wo es fu00fcr die restliche Zeit nochmal ordentlich zur Sache geht und party motivierte Gu00e4ste das letzte mal voll auf ihre Kosten kommen.

I arranged a days bottom fishing for 4 family members at the cost of 60euros each & was advertised as a boat for 8 pepole. There was in fact at least 26 ppl on board fishing, including ppl who had only paid to spectate who were actually fishing!!! They expected to fish for majority of the day but only fished for approx. 1&half hours. It was also a case of whoever got to a line first & shouted "fish on" that managed to get the fish. There was also a disabled fisherman in our group, who we were told in advance would be fine & helped on & off the boat, but in fact struggled both ways due to the drop on & off the boat. There was also a major delay in leaving & didn't set out until 10am when advertised as 8.30am. Have since emailed them & been told that the start time had been changed on the website since I booked & also that it has been changed to bottom fishing & trolling.Why were we not informed of the changes??? Am not happy about the trip, or the responses I have had to our complaints.

Having never fished before, I was a tad nervous about actually doing this. Those nerves soon subsided after one of the lads gave us all a quick lesson. I managed to catch four fish and one was rather impressive by my standards. The crew were very friendly and I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thanks a lot guys. If ever I am back in Lanzarote I will definitely be doing this again. I might even try the big game next time.

My partner and I went out yesterday in the Katfish, and we will be back. Probably with more friends! The day started out trolling out to the spot were we would be fishing, wee bit chilly on the way out so take a jumper/jacket. The deckhand Loui explained what the day would involve then once we landed we fished away. Everyone grabbed a rod on which ever side they wanted to fish and that was it! Got bites as soon as the rod landed in the water, and hooked 2 fish the first cast. There were about 6 bigger tackled rods hanging out as well which if any of them went off someone would get a shot of landing whatever was on; while being told what to do and how to reel, the boys stayed with us the whole time of fighting the fish. We had a good mix of fish landed and whichever ones we never used as bait, got released - while onboard all the fish were kept in fresh seawater, well kept. Like I said I will be back, even just coming over for a fishing trip. My girlfriends first time fishing and she loved it, even tho only spectating. A roll and plenty of drinks were provided for lunch, some fruit too. Ps. If the boys ever need any help you know where I am! Thanks again

many thanks to the crew . my son and i spent a wonderfull 3 days out fishing and for a 11 yo to catch an 40 pound plus angel shark wasa great highlight, mnyself a sting ray ! loads of snapper and bream and my son beating over the 3 days by a puffer fish !! can only give the trips 100% marks .. Recommend this to all you budding and expirenced fishers. Waiting for a call from the boys to let me know when the big ones are biteing and im away back across. Once again many thanks and just to let the crew know< curtis has been telling everybody about being left in the wheelhouse as captain in the main seat steering lol. A happy dad and son

Ive fished all over the world and Ive got to say that Tino the skipper knows his stuff, the water temp was below 17 deg C but he still found my son a tuna/spanish machrel. We booked a 5 hour trip but he told me we would'nt dock till my son had his fish! or in his words "my grandfarther told me never bring the boat home till there's blood on the deck!" So refreshing in a world of "pull some rubber and take the cash!". Over all the trip was worth great, Tino is a realist,a fisherman and enjoys catching you fish, what more can you ask for. I recommend this man and his boat.

We booked a day out on the 27/01/18 for my birthday ( I am keen fisherman), unfortunately the wind was on the increase and when I looked out of room in morning I knew no one wud be out fishing. Feeling a little deflated we cancelled our submarine trip for the Tuesday and rebooked the fishing. Picked up in morning and taken to marina, the crew quiet to begin with but warmed to us and became very friendly. Boat is well equipped and spacious. The trolling was uneventful (but fishing can be that way). The bottom fishing started with my partner getting first fish, followed by 3 for me (first one had to poisonous lol). Plenty of bites, and Steve behind me hit into a couple of larger fish but only landing one. Highlight was when the live bait Bream was taken by something LARGE and ratchet had quick melt down, no fish on but the bream was bitten surgically in half!! Trolled back to marina but again no luck. Cold beers and lunch all provided. I have fished a few places worldwide and still not had my Tuna but it will happen. Well recommended and I WILL return !

Over all when I booked this trip it was for 8 people not 26 it was suitable for disabled people this is not so how are they supposed to get on and off the boat even though we asked before we were asured that it would be fine also we only spent 1hour 30 mins bottom fishing because the boat was late leaving no explanation given even when email sent and asked then very few fish were caught be anyone but as long as they made their money their ok with that not worth u20ac60 caught more fish off the jetty

Great 6 hour fishing trip, the crew where excellent, The London boy was very helpful i think his name is Loui or Leo and had some great videos on his phone from his trips. fed us and had a fridge full of beer. unfortunately we didn't catch anything big but lots of Snappers and Pandora's, all in all it was well worth 60 Euro.

booked for 4 people from costa teguise Oceano apartments on the 1st of March 2017 to go on fishing trip 4th March 2017. was told they would pick us up at 8am it got to 8.30 so rang shop where we had booked it,she rang back saying they were picking us up at 8.45,we waited till 9.15 got a call from lady we booked with to be told they had gone to Oceano apartments in Porta del Carmen ...........complete set of morons they refused to come and pick us up even though it was their fault

Went on the trolling and bottom fishing trip, last for about 6 hours cost 65euro, includes all equipment, bait, travel to and from your resort, much and drinks. Crew very knowledgeable and helpful, all in all a good day out

3 years in a row we've been to Puerto Del Carmen and it wouldn't be a real holiday for us without fishing on the Katfish. The crew is very nice and more than helpful!! Included in the price is lunch (with fruit all you can eat and a huge bread roll) all drinks are free too. Always excited to see all the variety of fish caught. Highly recommendable to do and there is no age limit. We go again next year because we love it so much :)

Went out for a day bottom fishing and had a great time. Got picked up no problem at our hotel dropped off at the dock and got on the boat (katfish). The captain and crewman Louis got all the trolling rods sorted offered everyone a coffee then we set off. As we trolled out to the fishing ground Louie who is from London gave everyone a safety and how the fishing works talk, it was then around an hour of trolling till we arrived at the fishing ground. Everyone then got a rod and there was loads of squid for bait and it was fishing time, everyone was all most right in to small fish, bream, boga, wrasse, damsel fish, one guy got a small stingray, that was the script till lunch time and while we all got lunch a cheese and ham crusty roll, the captain moved to a new spot, and the fishing started again with more of the same sort of fish nothing big but plenty coming aboard, then one guy hooked something huge that dragged him up and down the boat as this was happening one of the float bait rods went and a lemon fish/jack crevalle was landed then a bonetio tuna, unfortunately the guy at the other end of the the boat lost the huge fish which the captain thought was a big stingray. All in all a good day with unlimited beer and soft drinks, nice crew and some fish.

Overall lovely day out great company on boat and speedy get out of harbour. Just wish when book was told we weren't going to be catching large fish as sold to me. Sent emails before trip to Lanzarote to sporting fishing stating that's what me and my wife was after. Great tourist fishing but not if your an experienced fisherman/woman. I was disappointed with the trip myself but the kids from other people seemed to enjoy trip. Very friendly staff on boat. A lot of money to catch stickle back sized fish when advertised to catch large fish like barracuda/tuna etc. If your looking to do good fishing and want large fishing experience go to harbour and scout skippers face to face you'll find them and at good prices for trips out. Wish I'd done this instead of jumping the gun.

Just off the Katfish, had an enjoyable day. The crew were very assured, boat very clean. The trip out to the bottom fishing is pleasing to the eye, Dolfins swimming by the side if the boat, the odd flying fish to be seen, no big fish caught. Sometimes you do and sometimes you don't that's fishing for you. Give it a go it's well worth it.

Me my brother in law and son went fishing with Sport fishing Lanzarote back in November and it was a fantastic experience . Louis is a great deckhand , top man and really knowledgeable and helpfull. We trolled on the way out ( weather was 30 degrees :) ) but didnt get any bites so we had a good 3 hours drifting and bottom fishing where i think everyone on the boat caught fish.....and wildly enough someone caught a turtle :P ( iv'e posted pics ) I'm not talking a small turtle either ..think finding Nemo size .. All in all a great experience ..great weather..free beer ( for adults ) soft drinks and food ..if i make it to Lanzarote again i'll be definately going out another trip... Cheers Gavin

Unfortunately we only caught one fish between the boat in the big game fishing but this just seemed to be bad luck, though the crew member turned it into sushi for us infront of us and we also saw dolphins, which saved alot of money on a dolphin spotting trip! On the bottom fishing trip, everybody caught fish, within 30 seconds of putting your line in the water, you have a fish!. Lunch and unlimited drink was supplied on both of the trips. And on the bottom fishing, we did trolling on the way out there and the way back, so we did two types of fishing which seemed a good idea to get our moneys worth! Sushi was made also on the bottom fishing trip. The crew speaks really good english and are really friendly and helpful. Although i have not fished before, i really enjoyed myself and would definitely do it again. The big game fishing was 85 euros and the bottom fishing was 60 euros.

This was my second trip out with Sport Fishing Lanzarote. Last time I chose the Big Game Trip and really enjoyed that so this time I decided to have a change. We trolled for an hour until we arrived at the wreck. On the way we had a hit from a Marlin that didn't hook up and also saw a big pod of dolphins. Plenty of fish caught whilst drifting and at anchor. Big fish rods were set up and we had a take from a shark but that bit through the hook trace and I was lucky enough to play what was purported to be a big Stingray. (Louis said it coud be anything uo to 100kg due to the way it ran...Smaller ones tend to come up a bit easier. It ran some 300 metres along the bottom and eventually escaped when the hook length scraped across the rocky bottom and got away (I know it sounds like a fisherman's tale). Trolling on our way back to port we hit two fish and landed one (a skipjack tuna). Cap'n Jack Sparrow, Louis and Matt are great hosts and I can't wait to go out again with Katfish. Whilst on the trip you have unlimited cold drinks and a nice ham and cheese roll and an apple.

my husband and I have been on this trip twice now and each time the crew have been very helpful and friendly even for a novice to fishing they were very helpful and patient. they supply cold drinks and a snack consisting of a ham and cheese baguette which was very tasty. well worth the money

Fantastic day. 22 July 2019 Found the boat and read the reviews here on trip adviser, I emailed the company asking for this date 3 people pickup in teguise at Hotel and possible drop off later and Price. About one hour later I received an email saying yes I can fit you in will pick you up 7.30 am 6 hours fishing free drinks on board water coke beer etc... and a sandwich and drop you back at your hotel u20ac75 each to be paid on the day . I Said yes please and that was it, Pepe the skipper picked us up as agreed and we had a great days fishing nothing very big but a few Tuna worth eating. Pepe asked who wanted to take fish then gutted and cleaned all the fish bagged them up with equal amounts and gave them to the ones who wanted them. I had asked the restaurant next to my hotel if I caught something nice would they cook it for me and they said yes so I dropped my bag off and arranged a time for dinner the next day 2pm we sat down to a banquet for 5 people with huge tuna stakes cooked to perfection and they only wanted u20ac80 which would barely cover the bar bill. I rang Pepe and booked the night fishing for the 3 of us on 24th he said it would cost u20ac100 pp as there would only be five fishing but we would definitely get some big rays or sharks wich we did all five of us. I guess a fishing trip is judged by the catch! We caught fish as did others but nothing above 12 inches. Well organised, clean and good H&S but very little return for 60 Euros per person Maybe we were unlucky!

Just got back from a great day out with sport fishing lanzarote, I'd looked at a few online and in the harbour in puerto Calero where we are staying but when I checked on here the others had bad reviews so went with them. The weather hasn't been great for a few days now, really windy and rough seas so I wasn't sure we'd be going, turned out, just 4 of us had booked but they still took the boat out even though it could easily take 20+ people fishing. The skipper was local but very friendly, the deckhand Louie was a character, obviously been doing it a long time but he still put all the effort you would expect in and was very helpful. The fishing wasn't great but I didn't expect it to be, it's been rough seas, but the beer was free and lunch was provided. No complaints from me and I'd definitely go again.

The crew are a professional set up. Plenty of rods set up and prepared for a variety of fishing styles. They couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. They demonstrated patience when lines got tangled and made sure that the trip was as hassle free for us as possible. They clearly enjoyed what they did, and showed a sense of humour along the way. Food consisted of quality crusty rolls and an apple. During the whole trip there was as much canned soft drinks, bottled water and beers as you wanted. Trolling on the way out followed by bottom fishing, and then trolling on the way back to the harbour. Watching the two Sharks being landed was the highlight of the trip. Just awesome. I did some research before going on this fishing trip and considered going to Mizu, but after reading terrible reviews about Mizu and reading the excellent reviews about 'Sports Fishing Lanzarote' I am very glad I went with 'Sports Fishing Lanzarote'. Well done guys, and thanks for an excellent day out!

Great day on the sea in the sun. Went on both Bottom Fishing and Big Game trips. Bottom fishing was great, with the boat managing to pull on board and fantastic Black Stingray weighing in at ~200Kg. The care and attention to us and the fish was excellent. The stingray was rested and placed back into the sea, in line with the general catch and release policy for certain fish. I will be back again and go out again...hopefully catching something on the big game trip. Thanks Louis and co!.

My wife and I went on the trolling/bottom fishing trip a couple of weeks ago, had such a good day that we went out on the big game trip a few days later. The first trip was more eventful: dolphins surrounding the boat, a couple of whales surfacing and quite a few fish (bonito, yellow & black stingrays etc). The big game trip was less eventful (but no less pleasant) although a white marlin hit one of the lures with explosive force in the last hour of the session. Great crew, hefty sandwich, lovely boat. Highly recommended.

Good setup and friendly crew. Caught a fair few fish. Unfortunately only small but that's fishing. (Better than blanking) The only grumble I have is when we were trawling. Nobody was allocated a rod they were just set out and people stood around awaiting a bite. No bites came but if one had it mite of got a bit ruff scrapping over who got to the rod first. As there was a lot of people fishing. I'd of preferred to have been allocated our own rod so if my line went it would of been my fish. Without wrestling anyone haha. Would recommend but think I'll try a smaller capacity boat when I return.

This was my second Big Game Fishing trip with Sport Fishing Lanzarote and yet again a great day out. We were unfortunate that we did not catch any "Blue Fin Tuna" but we did see lots of them and according to the captain they were all between 200 and 300 kilos. Louis could not have worked any harder, and the Captain got so engrossed in following the tuna that we were half an hour late in getting back. Thanks. The day was not all doom and gloom as we did see a school of dolphins that were having fun very close to the boat and shortly after that we saw a large turtle leisurely swimming by. Will I go for a third Big Game Fishing Trip ? You bet. I just know there is a big fish out there with my name on it. I met up with a guy called Ron on our trip who had booked to go out again next Tuesday - so good luck to you all. Just book it, you will not be disappointed and yes of course, catching a fish would be a bonus but that is what big game fishing is all about. Even Robson Green has blank days.

We went out with Mizu on Friday 20th September. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped back and the service was great. There was around 11 of us on the boat. We trawled for big fish for 90 minutes but we were aware that nothing is guaranteed. We then all fished lines for an hour or so. Some good fish were caught but itu2019s hard work in the sun. Oh, try and get a spot on the back of the boat. Itu2019s really hard work on the bow as the boat does rock in the waves. Lunch was good and 2 beers provided. The deckhand is great - he works really hard. Itu2019s a really exciting experience but do take a hat / sun cream / water. It gets hot.

First of all this was not the trip i had been lead to believe i booked, having read the reviews i would have thought twice about booking this fishing trip. I used the website excursionslanzarote.com to book the fishing trip with Tortuga fishing because after reading the reviews with this company it sounded perfect for what i was after. I got to the meeting point this morning and was approached by a very rude man asking if i was on his fishing trip, i told him i'm part of the tortuga fishing trip which he replied that fishing boat is no longer in use and my ticket was now for his boat (might i add a very poorly maintained boat in comparison to the tortuga boat we were expecting with no safety equipement life jackets etc..) After getting on to the boat the skipper was all to quick to grab my money without even a hello or good morning, i found his overall attitude and people skills absolutely disgraceful, we questioned him about the tortuga boat which seemed to have got his defences up which came woth a reply of "if you want to cancel i dont care i dont need your money". That had finalized it for me, i was gone. We did some extensive research and found that the website/company excursionslanzarote.com i had initially booked with had been acting on behalf of "Low Cost Tours Europe" who we found to be the actual service provider and overall a completely different company/excursion/fishing boat by the name "Mizu Direct". We were not informed of this. I asked for my money back which was u20ac118, he had the cheek to try and give me only u20ac100 back, i did manage to get the rest back but lost out on the u20ac30 deposit to excursionslanzarote.com. Having found out where they are based i will be heading there today.... i recommend you do not use mizu fishing.Show

Excellent way to spend 6 hours of a holiday. As with all fishing trips you cannot guarantee what you will catch, but never the less whether you have an action packed day reeling in fish all the time or you just get a couple of small ones it is a great way of spending time on holiday. The Katfish is a nice size boat with all the amenities required for a 6 hour fishing trip. The crew are good and are there to instruct and help if required. Would definitely recommend a trip out with these guys to anyone.

25/09/15 - Went out for a days trolling and bottom fishing. Everything from start to finish was well organised and great fun. Transport, food, drinks all provided. The crew were so very helpful and made the day what it was. Good advice and general fishining educaton as me and my girlfriend had never done it before. So glad we did and would definitely do it again! ps - If you could please post the photo of the stingray I pulled in I would be very grateful as no one believes me :)

I took this trip this week with my Son, brother in law and Dad. For 60 euro for fishermen and 20 euro for spectators it is great value as includes pick up and return to your resort (we were in Playa Blanca which is around half an hour away). Once we arrived at the harbour we boarded the Katfish and went out to sea. Before stopping to fish we spotted dolphins and several sightings of whales. The 2 guides on board were fantastic in helping out, giving information about the different fish and aiding those without experience. We caught puffer fish, mullet, pandora, snapper and a huge lemon fish. How can people complain about their catch and return on 60 euro!? Our team caught some great fish but this can't be controlled by the trip! We got a sandwich for lunch and unlimited beer and soft drinks. Tackle and bait is all included and we were out at sea for around 6 hours. Fantastic trip and would return

The big game fishing trip was efficiently organised. Louie from the crew looked after us well, and we were provided with a decent lunch (ham roll and apple) and unlimited cold drinks. We saw a whale at close quarters and dolphins following the boat were an impressive sight. Unfortunately, though, the boat caught no fish, but then again, big game fish are difficult to come by. I think next time I'm in Lanzarote, I'll book up for the bottom fishing trip which is both cheaper and with a greater chance of catching fish.

Went out for bottom fishing and we had very great day. Transfer was perfect both way. On the boat we started with cafe, safety and fishing information.The icebox was full with soft drinks,water,and beer. Till we arrived to "bottom fishing" locality we did trolling fishing. After started the mean thing. Many small fish was hooked and after one guy caught one nice Angel shark. While everyone made pictures i heard my line going from the reel very fast. So finally i caught a Zitrone amberjack.Was a nice feeling. P.S. The captain and London Louis, they are incredible sociable and helpful. Thanks guys for a nice day. I hope CU shortly

I book our sea fishing trip for my mates birthday on the 24th October 2015 for a days sea fishing for the 3rd Febuary 2016, on the 31/01/16 I got an email asking us to change the date to the 2/01/16 no problem other that it was my mates wife's birthday but she said ok.. We arrived at PDC harbour got on the Katfish(the boat) and set sail the crew were very good, Then after about an hour one of the engines started to play up the skipper spent about 60 minuites trying to sort the problem with out to much success We then had a 3 hour journey back to harbour with some help from some other boats closer to the port. When we eventually docked an English speaking girl was on hand to answer an question that were asked and there were many and she did very well. Alternative fishing trips were offered some free and refunds should be sorted in the next few days. All in all the day was a total disaster as far as the fishing was concerned but the staff were very good.

I had wanted to try sea fishing for years. We found Sport-Fishing Lanzarote on Trip Advisor and went on reputation rather than the hard sell of local trip organisers. We were picked up at 8:15 from round the corner from our hotel, after picking up and few other people we arrived just after 8:30 at the harbour and found our way to the boat. We were greeted by the captain (who's name escapes me, sorry) and Louis the English deck hand. Everything sorted we got underway just after 9am On the way out, Louis gathered everyone around and explained how the day would work and showed us all what we'd be doing and what we could expect to catch. He threw out about 10 trolling rigs from the boat as we made the hour or so journey to the fishing ground. We were treated to loads of Flying Fish skipping around as we made our way. When we got there we all started fishing, and catching... But strong currents were causing peoples lines to repeatedly getting taffled so the skipper made the decision to change location. The fishing wasn't as good but hey ho. The fish were there according to the fish finder, they just weren't hungry for squid strips that day. My partner came with me, but she's never fished before. Louis made sure she knew what she was doing and we finished up with two Snappers a piece (We'd bet a beer a fish so the livers were the real winner here) We were provided with a Cheese and Ham roll and an apple, as well as as much Beer, Water and soft drinks as we wanted. About 2pm we set off for the harbour, again trolling all the way home. Was a great day, even if the fishing wasn't amazing. On another day we could have bagged up and that's why it's called FISHING and not CATCHING! I'd recommend this company and the crew to anyone, Well organised, knowledgeable and friendly

Friendly staff but they allow smoking on board and 95 percent if all ppl on the boat were constantly pretty much chain smoking which as a non smoker I found pretty much ruined our experience as the stench if the cigarettes and constant smoke being blown at us was horrible

Picked up and dropped off from hotel, polite skipper, supplied refreshments and light lunch but the heavy smoking that took place spoiled it for my partner and I and the other non smokers on board. Trawling then bottom fishing and trawled on way back. Saw quite a few flying fish too.

I went fishing on this boat in Dec 2015, what a joke. It was supposed to be a 6 hour trip for bottom fishing only as the season for trolling for big game finished months ago. We trolled for an hour to a fishing spot, put the anchor down missed the spot they wanted. Then after 10 minutes up anchor and trolled to another spot saying the wind was against the tide so it blew us of the mark. We arrived at the second spot an hour later, set the anchor dropped down our fishing gear to be told we wasn't in the correct spot again. We moved to the next spot 500 yards north of where we was, dropped anchor then after ten minutes decided to move again as the water was not deep enough. The anchor got stuck in the bottom they tried to release it for an hour but could not, snapped the anchor rope. They tied a new anchor on and buy the time they had done this were about 1000 yards south of were we anchored the second time, we tried fishing for 45 minutes but nothing. We upped anchor and trolled all the way back to port, we only had 55 minutes bottom fishing time out of a 6 hour trip ? I asked the crew if they did any serious fishing and they said this was all they did and the only boat that did any was on holiday at this time, i think it was called Escualo. I asked them why they trolled and they said that most people don't know anything about fishing so they get away with it picking the odd skipjack tuna or barracuda up. I quizzed them on there own fishing experience and they did not have much to offer all in all they were a poor, inexperienced crew. I asked for my money back to no avail. These people are just ripping tourist of at 65 euros each because the general tourist are non the wiser. This also give fishing and the sport a bad name and a bad experience for everybody. Do not waist your money unless you just want a boat ride for 6 hour.

Had a fantastic day just try and have an early one the night before as there was nearly ground bait going down of the missis AGAIN!!. I decided to take a trip out fishing with these guys and the young lad ( soon to be captain) is a star! only 14 but can work his way around the boat. We caught a couple of small fish but nothing to brag about, they also served beers and pasta a sauce which i did'nt personally eat but the others said it was ok.- the thing that lets it down is when 5 of the 8 on deck get sea sick and are hanging over the sides, i know it happens but it really does have an effect on the teams because we know they are ready to go back. we paid 75 Euros for 4.5 hours - i didnt really feel it was value for money but next time i will do a little more research!

After fishing in Tenerife 2 years back, catching nothing and then throwing up over board, I was reluctant to go fishing again. But im so thankful I did. My boyfriend and I had a competition to see who could catch the most fish - mostly red snappers and other small fish, but we lost count after 10 each. Keeping the fish and using them as bate we later caught a 6ft SHARK which really got my adrenaline buzzing and the brought the thrashing beast on board for a photo before letting it go again. If that wasn't enough we then landed a HUGE sting ray, which took 4 strong men over 45minutes to bring on board. Again photo opportunities took place before it wriggled off the back of the boat. With pick up, lunch included and all you can drink (water, fizz or beer) this was an amazing trip, with an amazing staff and well worth the money. yeah we may have been lucky, but other people in the diary had seen dolphins and wales, and caught huge hammer heads or tuna fish. Its all in the luck of the day I suppose but give it a go! You'll not be disappointed.

We went out bottom fishing on the Katfish. The crew were very personable and informative. They seemed to really care about the environment as well as their commercial interests Not only did we fish but we also got to see whales, dolphins and even a loggerhead turtle. A lunch of a ham and cheese roll and an apple was provided along with as much soft drinks or lager that you could drink. I thoroughly recommend a day out with them.

I went as a spectator and my son and partner did the fishing. I think this is a trip for all ages as there were 7 year olds to 50 year olds on the trip and every one enjoyed themselves. Everyone who wanted to caught a fish and even those who weren't fishing got caught up in the excitement. I wasn't looking forward to it and took a book to read but didn't read a page.

This is my first ever fishing and I had a great day. The trip started off with coffee and an unplanned dolphin watch! Within a few mins after departure, the captain noticed a large group of dolphins/birds, so we circled around them and saw several cute dolphins jumping around us and swimming along the boat, literally a foot away. Then the staff set up the trolling fishing. Once reaching the spot, following a quick induction, we started the bottom fishing. I got one hooked almost immediately, a nice size bream. Many small fishes were caught. Then it went quiet, the captain moved us to another spot where we caught more fishes. One guy got a big lemon fish, took good 15 min to get it on boat. As mentioned by others, the staffs are really helpful and nice. There are lunch and unlimited soft drinks/beer on board. 6 hours went really fast, I had a great day. Will come back.

This was my 3rd Big Game Fishing Trip with Sport Fishing Lanzarote and although we didn't catch any fish we did see some dolphins that followed the boat for a while. Louie and the Captain did there best but I guess that I will have to wait till next year for that elusive tuna. 4th time lucky. This is great a day out and catching a big game fish is secondary. The cheese and ham baguette is great washed down with a few beers. See you next year.

Had a great day aboard the fishing boat Mizu, friendly skipper and mate, they tried everything they could so we came back with some fish. Even though I never caught a tuna my friend caught an Albacor which we got to take back to our villa, was good on the barbeque.I would recommend this boat for a great experience in the deep blue sea, thanks for the lovely pasta too !

Four if us joined the trip last Wednesday on the bottom fishing & coastal trawling package. We didn't catch too many fish but that was the boats quietest days fishing for a few weeks but that's fishing for you. That said one person pulled in an 80lb stingray which was great entertainment. This crew and company really care about the fish and make sure that they are looked after before being released back in to the sea live and well. All in all this was a great day out and it doesn't matter if you are an experienced fisherman or this is first time for you (like my wife). The crew look after you and explain everything. They provide lunch and there are drinks available all through the trip. Just make sure you take a warm top for the trawling element of the trip.

I decide to go fishing on 8th May! I choose Sport Fishing Lanzarote based on the reviews! First the boat was good, plenty of space and rods, the crew were excellent an both spoke English! The deck hand who was English made time for everyone and made sure all were kept busy. As much beer and pop as you could drink! As for the fishing plenty of fish caught bottom fishing from red snapper, bream, pandora, puffer fish(quite funny when the deck hand blows them up) and loads of weaver fish(beware). Unfortunately no fish caught trawling! Light lunch included baguette and apple! Would go again but only bottom fishing! But I'm not too interested in catching the big ones!

I'm an experienced angler so when I went on the MIZU for the first time I knew these guys ( Tino skipper, and Roberto deckhand) were the best guys in town. Their unparallelled Experience was obvious, they know the waters very well, they know the likely target species at any season, they look after your safety which in choppy waters like we had was imperative. We got a seasonal bonito about 5lb and a 50" baracuda which made my day after a poor week's weather and rounded off my Lazorote break! My mates back at home are v. jealous.............brilliant day (20-01-2022)

Best days sea fishing. caught a great variety of foreign fishies thanks to really helpful staff that wanted to catch fish. The boat was the most stable I've been on. And to top the day the previously moaning Michelle caught a SHARK! Brilliant:)

If you are an experienced angler then this is a good introduction to fishing in Lanzarote. If you are a beginner then there's no better way to get started then taking a trip out on this boat. The skipper & crew know the local fishing grounds like the back of their hand. They all are 'hands on' people and will help and advise you throughout the trip. I got the feeling that they really want you to get into the fish, have a good time and go home happy. I thought i'd try them out & see if it was any good, I ended going out twice and would've done more if I had the time. The days we went out we set the game lures whilst steaming to the area where we'd do some ground fishing. When we set off the deckhand Louis gives you a thorough briefing, what fish to expect to catch, what to do in the event of a strike, how to handle the rod & reels etc (common sense if you already know but v. useful for a beginner). Pay attention to his advice as you are likely to get some action from trolling. Tuna (various species) Dorado, Marlin (both Blue & white) are just a few types of game fish you can expect to hit the lures anytime whilst you are on the move. I was pleased to land both tuna & dorado and we had a white marlin hit one one the lures just out from the marina so (hint) it's worth staying by the rods in case one goes off, it's 1st come 1st served so be ready! Whilst on the move to the fishing grounds we had company of dolphins playing around the bow of the boat, a great sight to see. I'm told they also have Whales around sometimes so that's another bonus if you spot one blowing. The bottom fishing is good fun, lots of 'pan sized' fish to be had but also the real chance of landing some decent sized stuff. Snapper, Bream, Trevally, Rays, Shark + many others. They do have poisonous fish such as the weaver but you are well looked after and it'll be unlikely there's any problems but do heed the deckhand's advice. It can get v. hot in Lanzarote in the summer months, do take sun cream, glasses & a hat, all basic sense really. Tea, coffee & lunch is proved on the boat (usually a roll & fruit). There's an endless supply of chilled soft drinks, water and beer so you are unlikely to go thirsty. If you need to pee then there's an onboard loo. Is this trip value for money? in my book it's a yes. You leave at 9am and return 3:30ish so a good many hours out on the water. Other charters in the area are more expensive and spend less time out, I've not tried them so can't comment on how good they are. I do know that you'll be well looked after on the Katfish it's a solid boat with a great crew. One thing to note that the boat can be busy as it can accommodate 15+ people fishing, not an issue for me but if you want solitude then charter a boat all to yourself!

We were looking forward to this experience and waited at our designated pick up point for over half an hour. I then phoned the number on the Mizu leaflet and spoke to 2 people, who denied all knowledge of our booking but asked us to get a taxi and they would pay for it or book for another day. We did not feel confident doing this, so rejected their offer. I then called the office where we had booked this trip and they asked us to call in to sort it out. They spoke to the fishing organisers, who said they had called me to say there was a problem with their transport (NOT TRUE) We were refunded our deposit, but felt they did not believe us. Anybody going on this trip would be wise to double check their booking to avoid disappointment.

Schu00f6ne Fahrt inkl. Essen und Trinken. Leider konnte der Veranstalter die Get your Guide online Coupons nicht verstehen und hat diesen erst einmal nicht anerkannt. Er wollte einen Zettel oder ein Hotel, in dem wir vermeintlich etwas gebucht hu00e4tten. Nach etwas Diskussion hat er uns dann auf das Schiff gelassen.

Die Fahrt war super, wir hatten Plu00e4tze ganz vorne. Wir haben viele Delfine gesehen und sogar Wale! Der Halt in der Bucht war etwas kurz, jedoch war das Essen sehr lecker. Die Crew war sehr freundlich sowie auch die Stimmung wurde mit guter Musik und gratis Bier unterstu00fctzt. Alles in Allem ein sehr schu00f6ner Ausflug!

Wir haben die Tour sehr genossen. Es war fu00fcr alles gesorgt. Die Crew war sehr freundlich und hat mit toller Musik gute Stimmung verbreitet. Kleine Babys/Kinder waren ebenso an Bord wie u00e4ltere Menschen. Fu00fcr jedermann zu empfehlen. Toiletten gibt es ebenfalls an Bord die aber u00fcber eine steile Treppe nach unten erklommen werden mu00fcssen. Das Menu00fc bestand aus Weiu00dfwein, Rosu00e9wein, Bier, Softdrinks und Wasser sowie einer Stu00e4rkung durch Hu00e4hnchen Paella. Die Katamarantour hat uns super gefallen. Wir wurden am Hotel abgeholt und auch zu00fcgig zuru00fcckgebracht. Alles im Preis miteinbegriffen.

Gebuchte Tour wurde auf einen Alternativtermin umgebucht. Unkompliziert wurde ich daru00fcber benachrichtigt. Abholung klappte super. An Board super tolles Personal, spricht spanisch, englisch, deutsch und Italienisch. Es konnte auch gut Abstand eingehalten werden. Leider gab es, meines Erachtens nach, keinen Versuch weiter raus zu fahren, um Delfine/Wale zu sehen. Wir waren die ganze Zeit vor der Ku00fcste. Das Schwimmen in der Bucht was super,Getru00e4nke und ein Reisgericht inkl. Bitte nehmt doch wiederverwendbare Becher-so viel Mu00fcll. Teller und Besteck war wiederverwendbar. Insgesamt wu00fcrde ich es aber definitiv weiter empfehlen. So war es eine kurze Auszeit, mit guter Musik, netten Guides und viel Sonne.

Tru00e8s bonne visite ce jour sur ce catamaran. Le snorkeling dans la petite crique paradisiaque c'u00e9tait le must ! Seul souci avec la prise en charge u00e0 l'hu00f4tel, ou00f9 nous avons attendu et ou00f9 l'on a vu personne arriver. Peut u00eatre un petit soucis de compru00e9hension entre l'anglais /l'espagnol et le franu00e7ais. Mais rien de grave puisque nous avons pu prendre la voiture depuis Mu00e9lia Fuerteventura Hu00f4tel jusqu'u00e0 Morro Jable sans arriver en retard

Am sich ein wunderschu00f6ner Trip mit einer super netten Crew. Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es da es in der Beschreibung kanarische Kartoffeln geben sollte aber es tatu00e4tsu00e4chlich eine Reis-/Fleischpfanne gab. Als Vegetarier blu00f6d. Die Bucht in der gehalten wird um zu schnorcheln hat nicht wirklich etwas sehenswertes. Das Meer war zu unruhig dass Kinder ins Wasser konnten und ein Riff zum schnorcheln oder u00e4hnliches gab es auch nicht. Aber wer Katamaran fahren gut findet und Delphine in der Wildbahn sehen mu00f6chte, ist bei der Tour richtig:)
